Here are the most interesting stories Wednesday in the AFC North:

  • At age 34, Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward is getting ready for the 2010 season.

Morning take: Ward’s 95 receptions was one of the most underrated yet impressive stats of last season. With Pittsburgh’s issues, the team needs another big year from the veteran.

Morning take: Whoever’s healthy is the short answer. In that case, Domonique Foxworth and Fabian Washington appear most ready for Week 1.

  • Guard Floyd “Pork Chop” Womack hopes to add beef to the offensive line of the Cleveland Browns.

Morning take: Cleveland’s right side of the O-line is still unsettled. It could be a unit of strength if Womack or someone else steps up.

Morning take: Yes, the division champs deserved better treatment last year than only Chad Ochocinco getting in as an alternate. But it’s time to move forward.
