Here are the most interesting stories Friday in the AFC North:

  • Mike Duffy of BaltimoreRavens.com caught up with team owner Steve Bisciotti, who says the Ed Reed situation will get “worked out.”

Morning take: I’m still not 100-percent sure what to make of Reed’s recent series of comments. It’s hard to say whether the safety’s frustrations are related to money, health, game tape, etc. Maybe it’s a combination.

Morning take: Whether this experiment works or not, it’s going to be an interesting ride. So fasten your seatbelts.

  • Scott Brown of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review takes a look at quarterback Ben Roethlisberger entering training camp.

Morning take: This is the second straight summer “Big Ben” brings big controversy to training camp. I’m very interested to see how the team handles first-team reps knowing Roethlisberger will miss at least a month.

Morning take: This is the third regime in three years for Cleveland. The team’s best bet is to move forward with these players president Mike Holmgren and general manager Tom Heckert added and begin building a new foundation.
