The Baltimore Ravens have acquired CB Doug Dutch from the Washington Redskins in exchange for QB John Beck, executive vice president/general manager Ozzie Newsome announced Monday afternoon.

Dutch, a 5-11, 205-pounder, spent the final seven games of the 2009 season on Washington’s practice squad. Dutch originally signed last year with the Redskins as a rookie free agent out of Michigan.

A Hyattsville, Md., native, he attended Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C.

  • Joined President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House Easter Egg Roll to help kids learn the value of good health during the 2010 offseason.

  • As a youngster, rooted for the Washington Redskins and his favorite player was Champ Bailey, who also wore jersey number 24 for the team.
