OWINGS MILLS — University of Virginia defensive end Cam Johnson has drawn interest from multiple 4-3 and 3-4 teams.
After a series of private workouts, Johnson has upcoming visits with two AFC North powers: the defending division champion Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The versatile 6-foot-4, 268-pounder excelled at the Senior Bowl all-star game.
Johnson ran a 4.81 in the 40-yard dash and had a 35-inch vertical leap at the NFL scouting combine.
At his campus Pro Day workout, he bench pressed 225 pounds 16 times and had a 9-7 broad jump.
Growing up in Washington, D.C., Johnson played wide receiver and defensive back in high school at Gonzaga.
Johnson recorded 30 tackles, 11 tackles for losses and four sacks last season.
He registered 53 tackles, 14 for losses and 6 1/2 sacks as a junior.
As a sophomore, Johnson had 40 tackles, five for losses, two sacks and one pass deflection.
For his career, Johnson has 130 tackles, 33 1/2 for losses and 12 1/2 sacks with three fumble recoveries and seven pass deflections.
