USA Football selected Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata to the 2012 USA Football All-Fundamentals Team on Tuesday afternoon.

The team honors 26 NFL players – 11 offense, 11 defense and four special teams – who exhibit exemplary football techniques for youth players to emulate. Ngata is the only player to be named to every All-Fundamentals Team.

“Ngata is a textbook example of using proper footwork on stunts and interior movement to get off blocks and reach the ball carrier. By keeping his eyes focused on his destination, Ngata works to keep his outside arm free and use his inside leg to step across blockers to reach his gap assignment and continue in the direction he wants to go,” stated USA Football in a press release regarding Haloti’s selection.

The Baltimore veteran will receive $1,500 equipment grant from USA Football to donate to the youth or high school program of his choice.

Other players named to the team were as follows: Quarterback Matt Ryan, RB. Arian Foster, FB. Henry Hynoski, WRs. Reggie Wayne, Davone Bess, TE. Tony Gonzalez, T. Ryan Clady, Nate Solder, G. Mike Lupati, Carl Nicks and center Maurkice Pouncey.

On defense Chris Long and J.J. Watt were named as well as DT. Haloti Ngata, Vince Wilfork, LB’s London Fletcher, Chad Greenway, Aldon Smith, CB’s Champ Bailey, Charles Tillman, S. Thomas DeCloud and Earl Thomas were selected.

Special teams consist of Leodis McKelvin, Phil Dawson, Andy Lee and Greg Warren.
