Does it feel like Ravens/Steelers week yet?

I’ve seen (and participated in) a lot of posting of the usual trash talk on Facebook and Twitter today, but it still doesn’t feel like everyone’s hearts are really in it. Especially Steelers fans – it’s like Ravens fans are trying our best to drag them out of their 1-4 holes to join us in the smack (so we can remind them that they’re 1-4, of course), but they’re just not biting.

Oh well. Keep trying, Ravens fans. They’re sure to start yelling “Six” as Sunday afternoon approaches.

As for the injury reports, it’s certainly different to not see Ben Roethlisberger OR Troy Polamalu on the Steelers’ reports during Ravens week, isn’t it? Seems like at least one of those two is always nursing something leading up to game time. It’s a rare thing for both of them to suit up against the Purple and Black; in fact, “Ben” hasn’t played in a game against Baltimore since the 2011 season – both Ravens wins, of course.

I also work with a lot of Sh*ttsburgh fans and everyone has been very quiet this week. The last I heard from them was after our loss to Denver week 1. However, this game will wither put them to bed for the season or wake them and their yellow towels. I would give the edge to the Ravens this Sunday. Both teams have O-Line issues and little to no running game, however I would say the Ravens have the edge on O since they have more weapons. Our D is playing better this season and I feel we will win the pass rush battle, so again I give the edge to Baltimore. Sh*ttsburgh has the home edge and they need this W more then Baltimore to make a run at a season. Baltimore needs to score early and keep the yellow towels out of the game.

I agree. I think we lose too. Pitts beat the jets because of coaching. I see the same thing happening this weekend. They will shut down our passing game and we can't run the ball. Pitt will use the short pass to beat us. They beat us last year with a worse team and no qb. I expect the same this weekend.

I hope I'm wrong but with as pathetic as the coaching has been ( IDIOTS!) and as bad as the 0 Line is ( MORE PATHETIC!) I don't see how the Ravens can turn it around in just a week. the Ravens are going to get their asses kicked in Pittsburgh.

When the last time the ravens lost in pitt? Think we won 3 str8. The steelers are struggling just like the ravens but we been in every game except the second half of the denver game. Go get your yellow towel crybaby
