The Baltimore Ravens shifted focus this week to the Minnesota Vikings on Monday leaving behind the Mike Tomlin incident that took place Thanksgiving night at M&T Bank Stadium.

“Truthfully, we’ve moved on from that,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday. “It’s out there. It’s something that’s in the league’s hands. I thought it’s been addressed a lot and everybody’s talked about it about every angle. I really don’t have anything to add to it. It doesn’t matter what I think or anybody else thinks.

“It is what it is, and the league will handle it. So our focus really is Minnesota. It’s really not that play. In the end, the good thing is it worked out. We won the game and we had enough points to win the game at the end. So we’ve moved on from that.”

Exactly!

Let the league take care of it. It is December and Ravens need to keep their eye on the prize and right now that is defeating the Vikings in hopes of continuing their postseason push.

While I hope the league throws the book at Pittsburgh, it is time to turn the page!

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson is having a monster year for the Vikings and the Ravens must find a way to contain him however Harbaugh maintained Peterson isn’t their only weapon.

“Obviously he is a great, great player. Harbaugh acknowledged. They have a very good football team. Watching their offense today and they have play makers at wide receiver and it presents a lot of different challenges to us. We’ve got to stop the run and it’s not just that it is the play-action pass as well.”

With ten days in between games the Ravens have had plenty of time to put in place a game plan against a struggling 3-8-1 Minnesota team. Peterson and the Vikings managed to defeat the Chicago Bears in overtime on Sunday on the legs of Peterson who rushed for 211 yards on 35 carries.

The four game playoff the Ravens have in front of them includes two home games and two away games and the Ravens need to take care of business. Having won just one away game this season the focus needs to remain on this Sunday and gathering their seventh home victory.

Now about that Tomlin character…..
