North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron has been on the Ravens’ radar since the draft process began. Ebron told Pro Football Talk Live on Wednesday that the Ravens were one of the teams he had arranged to visit in the near future.

“I’ll be visiting Buffalo, Detroit, Baltimore, Carolina,” Ebron said.

Ebron may not be available for the Ravens with the No. 17 pick. The Giants, who pick No. 12, are one of the teams that have reportedly targeted Ebron. Asked about the possibility of joining the Giants, Ebron sounded enthused.

“I wouldn’t mind it at all,” said Ebron, who is from Newark, N. J., which is a short drive from Giants Stadium. “I grew up a Giants fan. My whole family is Giants fans, except my mom.

“If it doesn’t play out that way, there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m willing to play for any team. It’s the way the draft works. Things happen.”

If Eric Ebron is still on the board at No. 17 should the Ravens pick him?

If they're confident Ebron will be a great player and can contribute year one AND he's the highest rated player on the board then yeah, I'd take him. But if one of the top tackles or Mike Evans is still there I'd take them first. Even if they're not there - if they have any question about Ebron I wouldn't take him at 17... id probably trade back a few spots and take a receiver, one of the FS's, or a top interior lineman. I really like ASJ as a better fit for us and think he could be had in the 2nd round - especially if we trade back in the 1st bc we could use the extra picks we get to trade up in the 2nd if needed.. He looks like hes a more polished in-line blocker, but has the versatility to still do damage as a receiver. With Pitta mainly in the slot, I think there's more value in an athletic, balanced TE even if he's not an elite pass catcher.

Ebron scares me. Ed Dickson 2.0 in my opinion. I'd love Lee and Brandon Thomas in rounds 1 and 2, or take Zach Martin and Jarvis Landry in rounds one and two. I bet these two scenarios are on Ozzies board.

I would not waste a #1 pick on a TE this year. I think we should go offense but focus more on building the OL by going after Taylor Lewan out of Michigan ( He has the same build as Jake Long and plays similar. OR maybe even Zack Martin out of Notre Dame. HE reminds me a lot of Logan Mankins (OG).

I'm just not a fan of this years TE class. I'd rather see the Ravens take an interior-- swing lineman or FS that they believe has special talent..

"The Giants, who pick No. 12, are one of the teams that have reportedly targeted Elam." But we got Elam last year ;)
