Quarterback, the most highlighted of all positions in sport has certainly been a problematic one for the Baltimore Ravens. Not until the arrival of Joe Flacco has there been any stability at the position.

One could argue, and with good reason, that substandard play behind center cost the Ravens playoff wins and possibly another Super Bowl Championship given a defense that regularly ranked among the NFL’s elite.

Be that as it may, to borrow from former team head coach Brian Billick, “It is what it is.”

So in our continued effort to assemble the Baltimore Ravens All-Time 53-man roster we will focus on the QB position in this post and per the team’s norm we plan to carry only two.

So far we’ve voted upon 29 of the 53 spots and with this poll we’ll add 2 more. The leaders so far are as follows:

Flacco and Testaverde. No-brainer.

Flacco & Testeverde if we need to choose two. Based on stats this makes sense. If I could take 3, I'd add Dilfer. After all, all he did was take over in the middle of the year and win a Super Bowl...

On choose two polls like this you should double the percentages; they should add to 200, not 100 as they do. When you do that you can see everyone (100%) chose Flacco (of course) and not the indicated 50%

Went with Flacco and Testaverde. McNair and Grbac obviously had some really really good years with the Titans and Chiefs but Flacco and Vinny T had the better years in Baltimore.Thought about giving my other vote to Dilfer for what he done providing some leadership on the offensive side of the ball that they surly were lacking when he took over for Banks but I just could not get past his lack of numbers to justify it.

Dilfer, it's obviously Dilfer. Manning and Brady don't even compare to this guy. Look at how smooth he is on television, too. It's like he's a natural at both being the best quaterback and the best analyst.

I think this one is the easiest one yet to decide from. We haven't been the most blessed franchise when it comes to QBs but, the final two ate the only ones truly capable of starting IMO

how amazing would that have been.. i do believe we could have been undefeated that year if we had someone like flacco just to score and move the chains when needed. imagine how crazy the D would have played in third and four quarter because they had a chance to rest. forget flacco and pitta. flacco and sharpe would have been incredible
