Lombardi's Way The Baltimore Ravens All-Time 53-Man Squad

Posted in Lombardi's Way

With your votes we were able to come up with an All-Time 53-man squad for the Baltimore Ravens.

The voting produced the best squad from all who have ever donned the Ravens colors with a few debatable exceptions. Tony Jones should have easily bumped Harry Swayne from the available offensive tackles. Swayne was quite pedestrian during his days in Baltimore.

Dawan Landry probably benefitted from being a Raven more recently but Eric Turner was a vastly superior player. Jermaine Lewis as the Return Specialist should have edged Jacoby Jones but again, like Landry, Jones is more top-of-mind given his heroics in Super Bowl XLVII.

Here Ravens fans, is your All-Time team…

Doom wasn't on the SB team.

Steve McNair was a way better Quarterback then Vinny, also Sam Gash(FB) is missing.

Elvis Dumervil on the all-time Ravens 53 man roster?? Looks like most of the people that voted have only watched the last 3 years of the team and the Superbowl XXXV commemorative DVD. #fail

TL I chose Jacoby B/c of the punt return stats were better, so overall I edged him over Jermaine that was a tough one though.

You are correct, but that's not a qualification to make the team.

Eastside, keep in mind this team was created through fan voting taking into consideration how the players performed as Ravens.

Right. Just pop a SASE off to Sandra Bullock and I'm sure she will get right back to you on that . . .
