Win Probability Roller Coaster From numberFire Live

The win probability chart was as much of a roller coaster as the game itself, as you would expect. After Le’Veon Bell‘s 4-yard run to get to the 2-minute warning, the Ravens’ win probability was .12%. Yes, there is a decimal in front of that number. Before Tucker’s kick, the Ravens had a 40% win probability and there was a 35.28% chance of a tie. Luckily, Tucker is the man so we didn’t have to experience the weird purgatory of emotions that is a tie in the NFL.

Campanaro injured, seen in wheelchair after Steelers’ game

Michael Campanaro was injured last night after having a productive game. Unfortunately, Bo Smolka of CSN Mid-Atlantic witnessed a bad sign for his prognosis of recovery. Smolka saw Campanaro in a wheelchair following the game. Cliff Brown has the full story.

Josh Scobee Needs a Hug (Typical Deadspin Foul Language)

To cheer you up after the Campanaro injury news, for the rest of the links will be mostly be about the Steelers’ disappointment, because nothing gives me quite as much joy as Pittsburgh’s misery. The Steelers will probably be searching for a new kicker during this mini-bye week. Tomlin said after the game about their kicking situation, “we have to turn the stones over.”

The Steelers Faced Four Important Fourth Downs And Blew Them All (Again, typical Deadspin foul language)

Every decision the Steelers made on 4th down blew up in their face. First, they elected to kick a field goal from 49 yards out. Scobee missed. After that, they took the ball after a 4th down sack, and Scobee missed yet again, which elicited this awesome reaction from Snoop Dogg (FOUL LANGUAGE WARNING):

After that, they decided they would go for it on 4th, and they failed twice. As Kevin Draper says in this article, “If the perils of not having a trustworthy kicker were not apparent enough for the Steelers, Tucker kicked a 52-yard field goal to win the game for the Ravens.”

Todd Haley Madden Flashback

If you played the Madden NFL 2004, you probably had ridiculous stats using Mike Vick as your quarterback. It appears Todd Haley may have had flashbacks to that time.

Tweet of the Day: Justin Tucker is awesome

About Tyler Lombardi

Tyler has followed Baltimore sports his entire life. His favorite player growing up was Steve McNair, so he was ecstatic when he became a Raven in 2006. When he's in front of the TV watching the game, it's best to avoid non-football discussion. It's quite likely he isn't listening anyway, as his girlfriend can attest to. More from Tyler Lombardi
