We at the Ravens have promised to be open, candid and transparent with our fans, sponsors, ticket holders, and the general public. This past Friday, ESPN.com’s “Outside the Lines” feature ran a story entitled, Rice case: purposeful misdirection by the team, scant investigation by NFL. Later that day, we released this statement: “The ESPN.com ‘Outside the Lines’ article contains numerous errors, inaccuracies, false assumptions and, perhaps, misunderstandings. Ravens Announce Jersey Exchange Opportunity

The Baltimore Ravens will offer an exchange for Ray Rice jerseys on Friday, Sept. 19 and Saturday, Sept. 20 at M&T Bank Stadium. The exchange is to provide an opportunity for fans – particularly families, women and children – to exchange a Rice jersey for an available jersey of another Ravens player. It is important to note that there will be no jersey exchanges at this Thursday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fans should not bring items for exchange to the game. The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that Joey Odoms has been named the winner of their national anthem competition and is scheduled to sing at each home game during the 2014 season. Chapas, 26, is a first-year NFL player who has played in six career games for the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars, recording two receptions for 15 yards.
