The Ravens also announced Tuesday afternoon that CB/RS Lardarius Webb (knee) has been placed on Injured Reserve. Baltimore has subsequently elevated RB Bobby Rainey from its practice squad to the 53-man roster.

Rainey, a rookie free agent from Western Kentucky, rushed 23 times for 55 yards in the Ravens’ four preseason games, adding a team-high 14 catches for 163 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

During his 2011 senior campaign at WKU, the 5-8, 212-pounder finished second in the nation averaging 141.3 rushing yards per game (1,695 on the season). He appeared in 44 career games for the Hilltoppers, recording 4,542 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns.
