Anquan Boldin, who was traded from the Baltimore Ravens to the San Francisco 49ers on the eve of free agency, has released the following statement via his Facebook and Twitter pages:

I thank the Ravens fans for their incredible support for myself and my family throughout my years in Baltimore. I am grateful in getting to know you and will miss what I call home.

I thought this was the last stop of my career but regardless of the circumstances I came here to win a Championship, and in February we came home Champions.

Thank you, Q! While we – like you – understand the business side of things, we’ll never forget how you stepped up this postseason to help bring the Baltimore Ravens our second Lombardi Trophy. Best of luck going forward with your new squad and home.
