Joe Polek was born in Baltimore, MD, and was raised in Bel Air, MD. In 2001, he moved to Portland, Maine for a job in radio. In 2012, he moved to Columbia, SC for another gig in radio, where he currently resides with his wife, Nicole, and their two daughters. Joe is a huge sports fan, but most importantly he lives and breathes Baltimore (and Maryland) sports. He routinely gets back to Baltimore for a Ravens game once a year, and while living in Maine, went to Foxboro and Fenway whenever the Ravens or Orioles came to town. A couple of his highlights were being at the final game at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium, and also sitting in left field for “2130”, and “2131” (Cal Ripken’s consecutive game streak). Kurt's passion for the game began in the 60's watching the Colts on TV and at Memorial Stadium in Baltimore. He began following the statistics of not only his beloved Colts but also those of the Colts opponents, with a keen eye on Vince Lombardi's Packers. His thirst for and attention to statistical detail would eventually lead Kurt on a journey to the world of fantasy football in the late 1980's where he's captured more titles than John Wooden's UCLA Bruins Kurt carries a distinction that no other fan of the NFL can boast about. He is the reigning NFL National Trivia Champion and he credits his Dad for passing on such passion for the game, something Kurt also hopes to pass along to his 9-year-old son.

Mike Popovec is Baltimore born and raised and has been an Os fan since he could throw a baseball, and a Ravens fan since inception in 1996. Mike has many fond baseball memories from his days in Catonsville Rec to being a part of the Calvert Hall baseball program as a manager. He remembers growing up going to a lot of Os games on 33rd Street at the old Memorial Stadium. Prior to rooting for the Ravens, he ironically rooted for the Cleveland Browns so it all worked out. He also rooted for the 49ERS and Joe Montana but there was NO question who he was rooting for in the Super Bowl. Mike was a four-year football player at Calvert Hall and went back and coached for three years as a Quarterbacks Coach and assistant Offensive Coordinator. He also has done Color Commentary on the radio and internet for the annual high school football rivalry games in Baltimore-City vs. Poly, Calvert Hall vs. Loyola and Maryland State Public School Football Championships. He also hosts the state's only High School Football Show on the Eastern Shore. Mike loves analysis especially as it relates to Xs and Os and player skills. Mike is on the air weekends at 105-7 The Fan in Baltimore.
