According to Aaron Wilson from the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens and tight end Dallas Clark have mutual interest per a source.
Clark is currently a free agent and is looking to resume his playing career after recording 47 receptions for 435 yards and four touchdowns as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012. If he decides to sign with the Ravens, he’ll reunite with his old coach Jim Caldwell, and offensive counterpart, wide receiver Brandon Stokley, who officially signed with the Ravens earlier this morning.
Clark does have options though as the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers are also in the market to add another tight end to their roster.
The trio were all members of the Colts from 2003-2006, winning Super Bowl XLI. Throughout Clark’s nine-year tenure in Indianapolis, Caldwell was a member of the offensive coaching staff, working as their quarterback coach until taking over as head coach in 2009.
Dallas Clark’s Career Stats:
Games: 131
Receptions: 474
Yards: 5,322
Touchdowns: 50
Update:Â Following Sunday’s practice at M&T Bank Stadium, head coach John Harbaugh did confirm that the Ravens and Clark had reached an agreement and he was flying into Baltimore later during the evening.
