:nerd: I was just wondering if there was a complete list anywhere of the nicknames given to US cities. I know of :
New York = Big Apple, Chicago = Windy City, Baltimore = Charm City:glasses: , Nashville = Music City, Detriot = Motor City, Cleveland = Mistake on the Lake:rolling: , Philadelphia = Brotherly Love (?),

Are there any more?

Wikipedia has a pretty long list of them, includes a lot of towns for each state, if you're interested.

Thanks flraven, I was looking for 'common' / well known ones so its a bit too in-depth for me.

Is Vegas really Sin City?

No problem, UK. I thought it was a bit much myself.

Yes, Vegas is really Sin City. I have a t-shirt from there that says just that.

Thanks again flraven - by the way I think your Simpsons quote is cool. It's probably from one of my two favourite episodes: The one where Lisa and Homer start betting on Football or (less likely) When Homer refuses to go to church - both classics!!!!

Thanks UK. Since the season is over, I reinstated it. Lets let the new coach decide who plays!
