Some things never change aren't you glad Terrell Owens didn't come here. This guy just doesn't get it. What a real pain in the ass. Thanks God we don't have him here.
Hey TO wake up :hammer: :hammer:

The following WRs are ones we scrutinized Ozzie for not pursuing aggressively:
David Boston: Where is Boston now?
Peerless Price: Failed number 1 in the ATL.
Terrell Owens: Well, we did trade for him, but he whined about being here.
Jerry Porter: Crying and whining.
Randy Moss: He would have eliminated us from getting Mason, Clayton, and Rolle. Moss is good, but not worth the value of the three mentioned players.
That is why Ozzie is the Wizard. I also agree that I am happy TO is not here. While the thought of Owens playing WR in purple was, at first, intriguing to me, he would have caused all kinds of hell.

RACK THAT!!!!
I knew Owens was a dick when we traded for him, but who knew he was this big of one. We are very lucky for many moves that never happened.

Here here. I remember being so happy when we heard we traded for him, then so pissed when I heard how he was whining and protesting the trade. Who knew it was a blessing in disguise. Eagles fans found out the hard way.
He'll wear out his welcome in Dallas soon. Parcells already seems sick of all the media attention around him.

I was one of a very few who never wanted Owens here.
The guy was a major dick in San Fransisco, but everybody here thought he could be "controlled"...well, there were some very strong personalities in Philly and he still was an ass.
Parcells is about to blow.

I think if he had come to baltimore and was happy to be here he puts us in the playoffs in 2004. There I said it. :bag:
Regardless of how you felt about the offense, MC, or the qb--TO at that time was on fire and could have been a great weapon. If he cant start in the opener this year it renders him useless for Dallas in 2006 not when we had a crack at him. Keep in mind we had Receiver like Kevin Johnson and Travis Taylor that year. Yes he is a head case but he is a stud.
I think if he had come to baltimore and was happy to be here he puts us in the playoffs in 2004. There I said it.
The thing is, he isn't happy to be anywhere. He is only happy being the center of attention and "lovin' him some him" or whatever that bullshit is he spiels. I hope he pisses off Parcells enough to get launched and he never sees an NFL field again. And he can take Rosenhaus with him.

There I said it. :bag: Yep, that's just the kind of attitude that keeps allowing Leon to get another chance. I still can't believe that he's on Parcells' team. I feel like someone is playing a joke on me. The only ones that can truly claim he's worth all that trouble are the teams that won a ring with him. Oh wait a second.... :D

I was also one who did NOT want TO. I was really disappointed when Ozzie made the trade, and while annoyed with TO's attitude about coming here was still glad he didn't. I think if he had come to Baltimore the locker room issues we saw last year would have occurred in 2004. He is a cronic malcontent and will find something to create controversy about no matter where he is. There is no doubt he is a tremendous talent on the field but there is also no doubt that he can destroy a team faster than about any player I've ever seen in the NFL. As the song goes, "some of lifes greatest gifts are unanswered prayers"

Dude...when has TO ever been happy?
After getting a nice contract, playing with the team and QB he threw a hissyfit to be a part of, and even making it to the Super Bowl and being the toast of the town in Philly, HE STILL MANAGED TO DESTROY A TEAM.
He is a joke and he will never be a part of winning a championship.

Raveninwoodlawn, Greg and larry.
He was happy to be eagle not a Raven.
That's all I meant by "Happy".
I know The dude is always pissed about something.
the point is he played well with the eagles and they got a first round bye because of him and Yes They got to the SB with out him.
We were 9-7 with crappy Wide receivers in 2004, having TO would have increased our wins and put us over the top.

I was just thinking how lucky we were last night watching the back and forth in the post practice interviews.Tuna says "it would be crazy for me to put someone in a game when they havent practiced" and then the controversy crazy reporters going back to T.O. "Parcells just said......" and then T.O saying "He needs to look at 10 years of game film" This is gonna be a great soap opera to watch this year.

I was listening to the Cowboys radio crew at the start of the MNF game.
And they seem to be at the point with TO already, where the Iggles were at the end of there love affair with TO.
When will the NFL learn that one bad apple,a real fat maggot infested apple,
can ruin team chemistry from top to bottom.

It's definitely a mess, but I actually like the way Parcells has handled it so far. When these reporters ask him every single day about T.O.'s status, the disgust on his face is obvious. And I love his comments -- "I don't know the player that well," "I'm gonna have to see him on the field," "I'm getting a little tired of talking about this," etc. Jerry Jones may eventually regret this move, but I bet Parcells regrets it already.
I thought Owens would be well-behaved his first season with the Cowboys, but he's obviously not off to a good start.

I give it by week 6 before Leon is back in the media crying about how bad Drew Bledsoe is, and how Bill Parcells is some sort of dictator.
I'd love to see Parcells come out and call T.O. "she".

I don't care how good he is. Nobody is worth all that BS!

That is probably true. But it is quite possible he also could have started calling Boller out the first few times he missed him and made the team a 4-12 special. If we get the "happy" TO we might win 12 games. If we get the TO that ALWAYS shows himself we might win 4.

So true. The man pretty much made Donovan McNabb out to be a sucker on national TV. I'm sure slapping Boller around would have been nothing for him.
I can't wait until T.O. lays into Drew Bledsoe. You know it's coming.

Probably one for the FFL forum but in my super-fancy-excel-draft-program, he's the highest ranked WR. Is he worth the bother?

Whenever I talk to Cowboys fans (My boss is one of the unfortunate bastards) they have an uneasiness about them that tells me they KNOW what destruction could potentially occur now that T.O.'s in town...LOL

When we were playing Philly last week, I jokingly said when 81 was on the field and the look of utter disgust on the Eagle fan in front of me face was priceless. We dodged a major bullet.

Let's remember that we are LUCKY that TO isn't here because IMO he should've been a Raven.
I still don't understand how the hell that arbitrator (from UPENN btw) ruled in his favor in 04.
Believe, Im happy he never made it here.
But it took a very unique situation to prevent him from coming.
Again, we're lucky because Ozzie obviously wanted him.

Whew! We are incredibly lucky. I am not only sickened by this waste of a human talent, I am more sickened by the media's inability to leave it alone. I truly feel sorry for Owens. His life growing up must have either been horrid, or an absolute paradise.
No way the influences in his life can be proud. And I agree with a few others that said NO amount of talent is worth the price he makes people pay. I'd be surprised if (after Dallas is done ) anybody even offers the league minimum to him.
I'll go out on the limb and say either him or Parcells doesn't make it through the season. Jerry's biggest mistake was getting rid of Jimmy Johnson........... until now.

In spite of all his many faults, the media just can't get enough of him. A sad testament of todays sports.

TO is a POS. Parcells isn't going to take the shit that Reid did. His ass will be on pine until he practices, practices all week, and practices hard.
If he continues to disrespect Parcells ("He can look at 10 years of film if he wants to see something..."), and if it even begins to disrupt team chemistry, I can definitely see Parcells burying his ass on the inactive list. Quickly.

No, because he might last only 4 games with the Tuna!
