Washington is out apparently. So is Terry.
Come on Yamon...run one back!!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:03 PM
We get the ball first. Kneel down on the kickoff.
Good throw away Flacco...
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:05 PM
1st, Willis for 3 or 4.
2nd and 7, fake pitch, Flacco rolls right, looks forever, no one is open, should have tucked and ran, but he throws it away. Not a dumb move.
3rd, Flacco's pass tipped and batted up, then picked at the 30. UGH.
Not his fault, but UGH.
Hold on O...and an INT!!! This is gonna be a long day!!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:09 PM
1st, Addai for 1.
2nd and 9, PA, blitz coming but doesn't get there, deep for Wayne, great play by Reed to knock it away. Absolutely perfect throw too.
3rd, Colts take a TO. But then they don't. Now the clock is being reset.
3rd, Peyton looks, and about 4 Ravens were on him, so he hits the deck. Sack! Credited to Ray!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:09 PM
Sack forces a punt. Fair caught at the 10.
We held them to a 3-and-out....lets get the running game going O!!!
Raveninwoodlawn
10-12-2008, 12:10 PM
LMAO Manning
RavenDavey
10-12-2008, 12:11 PM
Peyton fell like a baby with Ray coming at him!!
The Fanatic
10-12-2008, 12:11 PM
Run the Fucking ball here!!!
There is no excuse for not running this ball until they show they can consistantly stop it.
What else is he to do? Get his head removed!?!
5yds a carry.....lets keep this up!!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:13 PM
1st, nice cutback by Willis to reverse field and get 5.
2nd and 5, Willis for 1 if he's lucky. More than likely no gain.
3rd and 5, Flacco throws it away. Pressure was on him, and he eluded a sack. Protection has been OK so far, but people need to get open!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:14 PM
Great punt by Koch. Holding on the Colts. Should be back to like the 20 almost. Phenomenal result there.
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:16 PM
Long day....
camdenyard
10-12-2008, 12:16 PM
We have to be able to run on this team. No excuses.
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:18 PM
LOL at play-by-play guy calling the Ravens D the "Colts Defense."
We might have broken Addai.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:18 PM
1st from the 21, Manning almost sacked on the handoff, but Addai gets it and goes for 1.
2nd and 9, Addai limps off, pass incomplete for Harrison, through the hands as 2 Ravens descend on him.
3rd, about a half second before being sacked, completes to Wayne for 10.
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:19 PM
hahahaha yeah we SUCK!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:19 PM
1st, PA, complete to a wide open Harrison who smoked C-Mac - touchdown.
HUGE hold on the Ravens on that play. HUGE HOLD.
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:20 PM
Cover your man CMac.
F--k.

10-12-2008, 12:20 PM
Well, I guess we can see who came to play today.
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:21 PM
That play was enough for me to take of my jersey and go do something worth doing..not sitting here being pissed!
I hope we at least get some points......
TTRaven
10-12-2008, 12:21 PM
I would love to see our offense do that just one time.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:22 PM
Upended. Not good blocking on these KOs.
camdenyard
10-12-2008, 12:22 PM
And our return team still sucks.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:23 PM
1st, PA, and sack. Whoever was on that right side for BURNED. Heap - had his man alone and got killed.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:24 PM
2nd and 17, complete to Mason, gets about 6 or 7.
3rd and long, some misdirection draw attempted to Rice, and falls on the turf. They said Rice had the dropsies in practice...
Should we end this thread?
WTF!!! That was the dumbest play I've ever seen!!!
camdenyard
10-12-2008, 12:24 PM
This is getting ugly in a hurry. Fumbles, sacks, no passion, no coverage...ugh
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:25 PM
This is gonna be a long goddamn day unless something changes.
Another phenomenal punt by Koch and nice tackling by Tommy Z.
purple bird
10-12-2008, 12:25 PM
Why aren't we running the heck out of the ball with the McClain train ? Wear them down, use the run to set up the pass.
This is like Billick ball all over again.
Running may be boring, but it's effective.
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:25 PM
Flacco is looking flustered. Someone talk to him to calm him down and tell Cam to run the ball on first down.
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:26 PM
I will repeat myself again WE SUCK!! I have now thrown all my gear across the room! What f**king bull$sh!t!! We look like the damn Lions out there!

10-12-2008, 12:27 PM
I'm so glad we get to play a crappy dfefense after two tough games against PIT and TEN. Glad we can exploit that 32nd-ranked rush D.
Somebody let me know when the game starts so I can enjoy all this.
Brandon
10-12-2008, 12:27 PM
Wow this is looking really good so far
Mcalister gets caught peeking in the backfield and ends up getting burned worse than Travis Barker, and Yamon Brightful takes a huge hit and will probably be too hurt to play next week.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:28 PM
1st from the 39, give to Rhodes who somehow evades Ravens and goes for 5 or 6.
2nd and 4, Wayne wide open for the slant, gain of about 7.
Miami looks awesome during that highlight, maybe I'll switch to that game.....
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:29 PM
1st, Rhodes loses 1.
2nd and 11, Manning rolls right, hits a wide open Wayne for a huge gain. Ivy is burnt like an STD.
phatboy
10-12-2008, 12:29 PM
Will someone please f---ing cover
Reggie Wayne is gonna have 150+yds on us today.....

10-12-2008, 12:30 PM
Can someone cover Reggie Wayne, please?
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:30 PM
Looks like we're going to start giving up the underneath stuff again. Great.
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:31 PM
No because we are too busy laying on the feild looking like a bunch of bitchs
Ed Reed bounced off of Gonzalez.....and he's small!!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:31 PM
1st from the 32, Rhodes for 3.
2nd and 7, Peyton gets no pressure, has all day, hits Gonzo for 5 - smacked by Reed and doesn't go down, finished by Scott.
3rd and 2, whoever that back was was hit in the backfield, then again after a yard, and then STILL gets that 2 yards he needed. FUCKING TACKLE GODDAMNIT
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:32 PM
Three hits and he still makes the first down? What the hell is that?
camdenyard
10-12-2008, 12:33 PM
McAlister is getting his ass handed to him.
Brandon
10-12-2008, 12:33 PM
Jeezuz, is CMAC even playing today
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:33 PM
1st, Rhodes stuffed at the line.
2nd and 10, pump fake, McAlister burnt AGAIN, and the ball is thrown just too far for Harrison. Good christ, its like this team doesn't even practice when they face the Colts.
3rd, Wayne burns Ivy like nothing, TD Colts. JFC!!!
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:33 PM
Yeah this game is OVER!

10-12-2008, 12:33 PM

1) Game-changing reciever
2) Awesome CB

10-12-2008, 12:33 PM
Lol...
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:33 PM
CMac caught out by the double move again. If he's our Number 1 what are we gonna see from Walker and Ivy?
Brandon
10-12-2008, 12:34 PM
Lovely.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:34 PM
This is fucking pathetic. Ivy is pathetic, C-Mac is biting on every single fake, and no one is even trying.
Peyton has ALL DAY.....why are we rushing 3 again?
The Fanatic
10-12-2008, 12:35 PM
We are going to get blown out!!!!!!!!
Seems to me that anybody with a clue would know that in order to beat the Colts you keep their offense off the field.
Kind of hard to do that when you don't have your own offense take adavantage of the mis match they have by running the ball.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:35 PM
Lets tally:
C-Mac: One burnage for a 67 yd TD, one burnage which should have been a TD that was dropped.
Ivy: Let about 2 or 3 first down passes go, and then gets burnt for a TD.
I can't tell who to hate more right now.
Thank god I've got Sunday Ticket....I mean, I love my Ravens, but I'd like to be entertained and not have this beautiful Sunday ruined.....maybe I'll go do some housework....
phatboy
10-12-2008, 12:37 PM
WTF is Figurs doing bringing them out. He has cost us at least 6 inside the 20 starts this year
RavensInBrazil
10-12-2008, 12:37 PM
If Figurs was 5 yards deep in the end zone when he got the kick, WHY DID HE RUN WITH IT?
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:38 PM
Run the goddamn ball... for god's sake.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:38 PM
1st, Flacco hits Clayton for about 5.
2nd and 4, PA, screen complete to McClain, who fumbles and pops right into the Colts defender's hands. Who fumbles again, but the Colts get it back.
Should I turn this game off, or something?
purple bird
10-12-2008, 12:38 PM
Wow!!
We can't set up a play action when we have hardly run the ball.

10-12-2008, 12:39 PM

Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:39 PM
Now McClain is coughing up balls?
I can't watch this anymore.
Fiesty Ravens Chic
10-12-2008, 12:40 PM
So how many god damn times are we going to cough up the ball and turn it over? Just wondering?
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:40 PM
1st, deep for Wayne, incomplete.
2nd, Rhodes for 1 or 2.
3rd and 8, complete to Gonzo for 6.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:41 PM
FG is good. 17-0 Colts. LOL.

Seems to me that anybody with a clue would know that in order to beat the Colts you keep their offense off the field.
Kind of hard to do that when you don't have your own offense take adavantage of the mis match they have by running the ball.
I'd agree...if we could you know...actually run the ball.
Our offense simply falls apart when we play the Colts for whatever reason and they aren't that good to begin with.
This team is a joke......Our offense is out of sorts and our "#1" Defense fucking sucks......
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:42 PM
What is it with the Colts? When we play them we always end up embarrasing ourselves.
Brandon
10-12-2008, 12:42 PM
B.J. Sams is available. Please bring him back. He atleast didn't do stupid shit like run the ball out of the endzone
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:43 PM
1st, Willis for 1, almost stripped again.
purple bird
10-12-2008, 12:43 PM
The no pass rush thing is a great question. Harrison and co. like to stretch the field, blitzing Manning won't give them the time to do that.
Although given who we have in the secondary, Ryan probably can't commit too many up front.
They're gonna put 9 in the box and DARE us to throw!!!
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:44 PM
2nd and 10, complete to Willis for 9-10. Offsides on the D. Declined.

This is embarassing.
We can't run against the worst run defense in the NFL. We are being beat up in every phase of the game.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:46 PM
3rd and 1, Ravens run for it, first down.
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:47 PM
They're gonna put 9 in the box and DARE us to throw!!!
I think any DC worth his salt would have this game plan. It's probably why Cam came out with pass plays to start the game, to try and make them back off and respect the pass a bit. But sadly the offense just can't execute and now the Colts D can taste blood, and when those fast Ds get going... it gets ugly.
Wow, a first down...and going no huddle....
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:48 PM
And Flacco can't his his man wide-open.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:48 PM
1st, PA, pass too low for Neal, but there were about 3 Colts defenders coming down on him.
2nd, draw to Willis, gains 1.
3rd and 9, complete to Heap, good protection, gain of 14 and a first.
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:49 PM
There we go, nice throw by Flack.
purple bird
10-12-2008, 12:49 PM

10-12-2008, 12:49 PM
1st, slant thrown too wide of D-Will. Should have caught it anyway.
2nd, give to Willis, gains about 4. Flag down. Offside.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:50 PM
2nd and 5, screen to Willis, gets about 10 and a first. Nice play. Willie Anderson had a great block before Flacco let the ball go to make it work.
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:51 PM

10-12-2008, 12:53 PM
1st from the Colts 44, McClain has no hole, tries to go left and then loses 1 or 2.
2nd and 11, that weird draw to McClain this time, and goes for no gain. What a terrible play.
3rd and 11, Flacco sacked by Mathis. Didn't even see him. Grubbs abandoned his position to go find someone else to block, and Mathis went right through that hole.
Rushing 4 and getting the sack.....this O-line looks like shit!!
Lee Van Cleef
10-12-2008, 12:53 PM
One of those linemen upfield on those delays really needs to pick Brackett off. Brown could have had him on that last one.
Sephy
10-12-2008, 12:55 PM
1st from the 24, lobbed to a wide open Hart, who fumbles it out of bounds after a big gain, and then hurts his knee. Probably out for the year.
Matt Ryan is 10 for 12 for 124yds.....do you think Atlanta is airing it out?
bmorebirds_24
10-12-2008, 12:56 PM
question of the week......
would this game still be fair if manning came out in the second half blind folded?
I sat Peyton on my fantasy team.....I'll never do that again when he plays the Ravens...
RavenScallywag
10-12-2008, 12:57 PM
first time i'll say it this season...
why can't the NFL give us a mercy option to end this game at halftime?

1st from the 41, Rhodes for no gain.
2nd and 10, overthrown for Harrison as the pressure came.

3rd and 15, draw for no gain.

10-12-2008, 01:13 PM
It's like I said in some other thread, we are not playoff ready. Flacco is going to hit bumps in the road this season and sadly he's hitting them hard.
We need something to change momentum, a big hit, turnover or gain, anything to give the players some confidence that there is still something to play for. We also need to stop running these slow developing plays and hit quick and hard.
RavenScallywag
10-12-2008, 01:13 PM

You out physical a speedy light defense.Run the ball down their throats up the middle from the I. No run delay misdirection runs.To give the Colts D time to read the play.
Now Flacco who has that deer in the headlight look has to throw into a speedy defense who knows they can pin their ears back.
Time to sit the young gun. Before it gets any uglier and he shrinks into himself
with shellshock.

Can the coaches make any adjustments?
Good question.
I have conceded the game at this point, but I want to see what Cameron and Ryan have to answer this fucking Little Big Horn.
The Colts are not this good, and the Ravens are not this bad.
The Ravens need to find a way to get the running game going, and get the ball down the field.
McAlister needs to find his balls.

This is not the game I was looking for. Did someone not tell Figures last week to take the knee in the end zone? I mean dude, you're getting stopped at the 10.
I hear that the Chiefs are trying to shop Tony Gonzales for a number 3 in next year's draft. Maybe we should try to get him as Heap looks like he is still lost in the offensive game plan.

I think Cmac saw all the other secondary players out,and decided not to turn up either.Lead by example you are a vet and should be a leader. You have to bring your A game against a QB like Peyton, and vet receivers like Harrison and Wayne.
No, Cmac is making bush league mistakes.

How many more outside corners do you want Ozzie to bring in? Ivy is the 3rd guy off the bench at the outside corner spot with Rolle, Washington and Walker down. How many corners are we supposed to carry to fix the CB depth? Ozzie got new guys in, I didn't like the signing of Walker, but he got guys in, Ivy is lower down the depth chart but we've just been beset by injuries at corner. No-one in the league runs 5 deep with starting quality at corner.

Anyone read "Next man up" ? If so, what do you think happened with McCallister, do you think this is the same thing as that 2004 game at home vs. the Bengals? In the book, the wrote about how everyone on the team knew C-Mac had been partying the night before and was still hammered during the game, hence his hand in giving up 21 points in the fourth quarter.
They said that Ray laid into him in the locker room after the game.
Do you think he was boozing it up last night?

CMac is just having a really bad game. He's gambling heavily and Payton is making him pay. You can't do that against the Colts.
OwingsMillsAlex
10-12-2008, 02:37 PM
If not last night he'll be boozing it up after the game. Everyone in the league knows that when Flacco rolls right he locks onto a receiver. Did it again and yes, I know it is a rookie mistake that he needs to learn to change. But it sucks watching this team have tons of problems today.
And yes, I know that we weren't expecting the team to do much this season but it still hurts when the team plays like a bad JV team.
