(CBS4) BOULDER, Colo. A CBS4 source close to the JonBenet Ramsey investigation has confirmed that the DNA of John Mark Karr doesn't match that of the foreign DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey's body when she was killed.

There will be no charges filed against Karr, CBS4's Rick Sallinger reports.

Wow. I'm sure he will still face some charges of making false statements. What a nut job.

They'll return him to California to face kiddie-porn charges (for now).

True or not true, it would not have mattered. This was a "media" trial and would have been played out and SCREWED up as such.

If this fruit loop is in fact guilty, DNA could have been conclusive and it would not have been relevant. This was/is going to be a mistrial or a violation of rights or some other technical crap due to nothing but the media. They, and they alone, will make sure this guy walks no matter what. They want it to play out in their medium instead of an actual court. Dude was guilty before he hung up the phone in Thailand, and now due to them he is gonna walk. And!, add to that, whatever friggin' judge is in charge of this, should END ALL media access until the guy is swingin' from a rope.

Don't think so? Keep watchin'.

The guy is a nut job and should be eradicated from society. The media should be culpable for being their usual stupid selves. Sorry I could not put into words how I really feel.

I don't get how the media is at fault here, the guy's DNA was not at the scene and belongs to a still unknown perpetrator.

And believe me, I have no love for the mainstream media.

I'll buy into that. For whatever reason, it was the DA who got the media whipped into a frenzy over this - although in fairness, the media doesn't need any more than to hear the words "JonBenet Ramsey" to whip itself into a frenzy.

Send him back to Thailand...let him rot there. Don't mess with the child porn crap in CA.

I think you will find that he actually wasn't in a Thai jail or would ever be. He was detained by the Thai authorities on behalf of the US authorities because of the Jonbenet case and for no other reason.

They flew this guy back to the US via first class and eating filet mignon. Someone suspected of killing a little girl and allegedly a child sexual predator. No wonder the recidivism rate amongst child sexual predators is so high. I bet Karr gets a slap on the wrist for the child porn. Our judicial system needs to get a clue when it comes to these predators.
