I'm really tempted by this - $35 to hang out in club level, meet a few players and cheerleaders, watch the opening game of the season on some big ass plasmas and get all the food and top shelf liquor I want.
Is anyone else thinking of going?

I'm trying to get the whole family to go. I'd like to treat my Mom for her 70th Birthday.

Doesn't sound like a bad deal at all!
Have to see if the Mrs. would be interested.

$7 a beer, it won't take long to get my $35 back. ;)

Yeah I'm going and other members of my Ravens Roost # 18 will be there.

Yup. I think for that reason I will hang out at Admin Acres. Plus my daughter is getting to be quite the fan and will want to watch the game with me and the wife.

I'm checking with the better half to see if she wants to go. If she doesn't I may show up alone...(yeah right)

Looks like me and the Mrs are definitely going - she got quite excited (some might say TOO excited) when she realized some Ravens would be there. Hope to see some of you there. I'll be in Ravens gear, although I'd imagine Dolphins gear will be equally acceptable.

Not being 21 sucks.

You and the Mrs? Something you forgot to tell us?

It was a generic 'Mrs', but thanks for pointing that out, McGroin. :141847_bdmoon:

I do my best.
:rolling: :jester:
I was going to wait and ask "The Mrs" about that.
Looks like we can't line up a baby sitter. My mother-in-law is out of town and the rest of our regulars are in school and this is a school night. So we probably won't be going.

I just bought our tickets to this (Dick Stockton's offer of a free Ravens hat was too much to resist) so losac and McGroin - I hope we'll see you there. Greg - I hope you locate a babysitter!!

I hate to Hank my own thread (never done it before) but I just wanted to see if anyone else from here would be making it tonight. Greg and McGroin have pussed out with child-related excuses.
Should be fun - a united hatred of the Steelers and free drink tends to produce enjoyable evenings.
Ron, Steve and 52Rayvens - maybe I'll see you for a beer. I'll be the good looking guy in the Ed Reed jersey.

Sorry. I'll be in HD heaven with my feet up and a hose running directly to my mouth from my keg of Smithwicks while 6 of the most nubile women in the neighborhood feed me grapes and massage my feet and tell me how I'm more likely to be in their fantasies than Big Ben R.
Ok, maybe I won't run the hose.
Should we <shudder> do a game thread?? Where's Sephy?

"nubile"? :229031_confused2: I had to look that one up.
Y'all Limeys :uk: have some strange vocabulary! You should perhaps hire new English teachers over there.:rolling:

I'll be there Steve - see my thread below. Don't know what you look like but I'm tall and English.
Admin - Have the ho's run the hose as well as feeding you grapes. No offense to any of the women in the neighborhood, of course. ;)
Nubile is a great word. I thought it was used in the U.S. as well.

I'm going to merge this thread.
Nubile is indeed used here, Ted is obviously not listening to the dialog when he watches his near-porn on Cinemax at night.

Hey Steve: was that you with Gerry Sandusky? Nice interview!

I have been temporarily "cut off" from Cinemax due to bad behavior.:grbac:
However, I will have to find a way to get "nubile" into my daily vocabulary without her knowing it.

T,
you need a English to English dictionary.:grbac:
Hey Steve: was that you with Gerry Sandusky? Nice interview!
Yes sir, that's our MW! And he was interviewed by the NFL network, too!
God that was great time. Steve & I had a blast! Hope they have this every year. The Roethlisburger shirts from 98 ROCK are funny as hell!:rolling:
B-Ron & Fells nice to meet you guys. Sorry I missed you TL.

Hey Steve: was that you with Gerry Sandusky?
What? You couldn't tell by the 45 pounds of beads and the hat that says "Sports Steve"?
