Wicked, bit nerve wracking during the first half just watching it on the ticker during the Cowboys match(how funny was that!!!!).

Going to be a cracker next Sunday, can hardly wait. Glad it's the early game, only just recovering from the late Cowboys game a week ago.

After watching the phins game last night, we have got a real chance.

I, as well as many others from our tailgate crew, will be going to Miami this weekend to attend the game. Will try and shout out a 'who are ye?' if I get within earshot of a microphone.

Fells, we do need to revise your pot of antagonising songs for opposition fans. Get yourself back here for a couple of games to revise your songbook!!!

Trust me, FPR has more songs than a church choir, only most of his songs can't be bellowed sober or in polite company!!

Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Willis McGahee return to the town they helped win college championships for, so this is a homecoming of sorts and I fully expect victory to belong to the Purple and Black!!:kewl:

:celery Since when has a Ravens tailgate included sober or polite people? Even more so in the enemy's house - give 'em hell !!! :celery

How about one for old times sake:
:happyanim Jingle bells, jingle bells jingle...jingle all the way!:happyanim

:happyanim Oh what fun it is to sing - when the Ravens win AWAY! HEY! :happyanim

Used to love singing that with the Hull KR fans when we used to play in the winter.:celery

FPR- Have a great trip! I guess that is what I get for not stopping over before the Jags game.
We tried to get there but no flights home unless you want to pay out the ying yang.
Ravens just sent an email out that they still have game tickets to sell for the Miami game--UNBELEIVABLE!! That wouldn't happen in this town.

Happy New Years to everyone.

I am totally dumbfounded that Miami Fans are letting any Ravens fans get a sniff of a ticket. This just goes to show how they do not deserve to go any deeper into the play-offs.

Well, consider the alternative.

The Vikings are going to enjoy their game being blacked out -- fans will have to drive 75 miles in order to see the game.

Pick your poison I guess.

Have they handed down that blackout for sure yet? Last I knew they were giving out final deadline after final deadline after final deadline. I get the impression they're going to give every opportunity to the fans to buy those tickets and if they don't a TV station or the NFL or someone will buy those tickets to ensure it isn't blacked out.

I was not paying attention when it was on ESPN it sounded to me they were on double secret ticket deadline and that it still was not looking good they would sell out.

:celery:patriot: That would NEVER happen at M&T.:celery :patriot:

I know there is a credit crunch and recession - but not selling out play-off games

Latest I've heard is that the HHH Metrodome is now sold out and the game will not be locally blacked out.

Matt Ryan WHO???? Our Joe wasn't the best but he didn't turn it over. That was huge when our boys were out there shopping on Pennington's passes.
Int.-Returns 4-108 Flacco turnovers: 0-0

We grabbed 10 tickets off StubHub and are going to make the 11 hour drive. I am thinking TN would rather have somebody else than the Ravens.

Good performance and good win last night, although it got me in trouble with the wife for waking up my two year old when Reed ran in his TD.

I thought Joe looked a lot more calm than Matt Ryan did the previous night.

:ref: What you been drinking? Matt Ryan is Rookie of the year, Flacco got no votes!

In the 2000/01 playoff's my Elliot (then 1 and a half) was sat next to me when we blocked a FG then and ran it back against the Titans. He ran to his mum in tears after I shouted down the house. After a while he re-appeared, held his arms up and shouted 'Go Ravens!!!' :celery

Good lad, start them young.

Not saying Flacco was better than Ryan over the year, that particular battle wasn’t close. However, I thought (only my opinion and to be honest as I have said before I am relatively new and still learning) that Ryan looked overawed and nervy in his play off game, whereas Flacco seemed a whole lot calmer.

My son was still in my wife's belly when Anthony Mitchell picked that thing out of the air and started returning it. We were at the Crabcake Factory in Annapolis with dozens of folks. At the time Amy and I were discussing names and as Mitchell went by the last Titan defender on his way to score I leaned over to Amy and said "How about Anthony?" Given that her dad, brother and our nephew are all "Antonius" (Dutch Anthony) that didn't fly, so we went with Joseph, my dad's middle name.

I actually told Anthony Mitchell that story and he gave Amy a dirty look. LOL.

Sorry Cars - I was in:261695: mode on that one.

Elliot does still watch 'some' football with me - when I make him. If it's not Star Wars or LOTR he has a BIG attention span fall off.:(

Why did you not call him Mitchell - that would have been cool.:glasses:
