Saw this on extremeravens.com:

Jonathan Ogden was held out of practice and continued to workout on the sideline. Ogden, despite several rumors floating around, looks to be in great shape as he weaves his way through the various drills, and sprinted 30 yards with his brother Marques.

Safety Steve Paris sat out of practice while Clarence Moore practiced in pads for this first time. Haloti Ngata was in full gear once again and showed no signs of a knee injury sustained a few weeks ago. Rufus Skillern left practice early, as trainers working on his shoulder and neck area.

Seems as if the doom and gloom reports on both from yesterday were either exaggerated or total BS.

Someone said, believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

Great news on both Ngata and Ogden. Ngata wouldn't be playing Thursday if Billick did not think he was ready. One thing about our organization is that we are extremely cautious (sometimes to a fault) with our players. Remember, we are "Camp Creampuff." :D

I would still hold Ngata out this week and then start him in Minn.

Good to hear about JO!

Well, it says he is showing no signs of the injury, and I don't think the coaches would let him play or want him to play if it was still bothering him.

Hasn't there been anyone out to camp to report on how JO looks?

I was at camp today. I'll copy and paste my post from YBR.

Just got back from camp today. Now, I don't know how much this had to do with perception/expectation trickery, but to me, HE DID LOOK FAT. I can't judge how much weight because I was too far away, but you could see it not only on his body but in the way he was moving around. Again, perception is an extremely tricky and complicated concept, so maybe I'm just seeing things. I think it was significant enough that I would have noticed it even without prior knowledge, but I can't really say that for sure. Just adding my $.02.

Due respect to Jon and the Ogden family, but if Jon Ogden is less than 100% on opening day, Simeon Rice poses a serious threat to the health of Steve McNair and the welfare of the Ravens season.
