Where are you,it's supposed to be all over the Baltimore area starting today, but you have to subscribe to the Sports & entertainmebt package - $5 a month but well worth it, trust me
The free preview isn't, and I have no idea why.
Not listed on our channels or on the website.
Just chuck it up in the air and pray Moss comes down with it...nice.
RavenScallywag
10-04-2009, 02:30 PM
was it really a bad call to blitz? If Foxworth stays with Moss, that was a bad throw, he could've easily tipped it down.
The bad call was Foxworth's coverage...looks like Moss outmanuvered him.
Raveninwoodlawn
10-04-2009, 02:30 PM
well, if the defense isn't going to stop them, this game is over.
I thought we needed to score 30 points to win this game and we'll be lucky to get 20.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:30 PM
Oh the blitz got there, Reed was flying in, he just chucked it up, and I'll take Moss in that matchup any day.
That said, just a BAD call to leave Foxworth alone over there. Not at all happy with Mattison's gameplan.

10-04-2009, 02:30 PM
Yeah, single-covering Moss in the endzone, BRILLIANT MOVE
Flipping Birdie
10-04-2009, 02:31 PM
Hey, good news.
Cleveland is actually beating the Bangals. Wow. We needed that.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:31 PM
Offside and a strong leg sends that out of the back of the endzone.
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:32 PM
I didn't hear about the free preview - Give Comcrap a call & give them an earful like I did the 1st 3 weeks until we finally got it
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:32 PM
1st, complete to Clayton to the 33-34.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:33 PM
1st, complete to Mason for about 20 and a first. Flag down. OPI on Mason. Oh of course we get called for that BS.
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:33 PM
You have to be kidding me - These refs are terrible - That's not a good call Simms, you suck too
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:34 PM
1st and 20, RICE EXPLODES to the Pats 30!!
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:34 PM

52decleetzu
10-04-2009, 02:34 PM

Great run by Rice.
Shut your fuckjing mouth Simms you disgust me.
Galen Sevinne
10-04-2009, 02:34 PM
duh...draw?????
RavenScallywag
10-04-2009, 02:34 PM
Rice for BIG gain...
then next run he has lots of room and loses his feet.
Lee Van Cleef
10-04-2009, 02:35 PM
About time.
And seeing some good protection out there on those two throws. Nice.
Galen Sevinne
10-04-2009, 02:35 PM
we could run the ball all day on these guys
darb72
10-04-2009, 02:35 PM
Our running game has been solid. Why in the world have we not been pounding it up the middle all day?
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:36 PM
Big 3rd down come on Joe
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:36 PM
1st from the 27, Rice again, stumbles in the backfield, squirms for 2.
2nd and 8, intended for KW, Merriweather forces his way in there. He's playing outstanding today.
3rd and 8, Pats jump, complete to Rice, gets 13 yards. Declined.
Rice is so fucking awesome.
Lee Van Cleef
10-04-2009, 02:36 PM
Ray Rice is sick.
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:36 PM

If I see any yellow flags by accident this week I might have a traumatic episode. But we have been playing the Pats, the refs, and ourselves most of this game, and we have a chance to win it with 15 mins to go, which is all you can ask for in that sort of circumstance.
Galen Sevinne
10-04-2009, 02:37 PM
I wouldn't be mad Cam if you ran the ball a couple times down here.
RavenScallywag
10-04-2009, 02:37 PM
Ray Rice is making his statement...McGahee has been the talk of the town for the past 3 weeks, Rice wants to jump out in front.
YRKPARAVEN

Very poor game by this Ref crew.
That call on Mason was weak. And the announcer agreeing with it makes me sick.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:39 PM
1st, from the 15, Rice for 2.
2nd and 8, complete to Willis, TOUCHDOWN RAVENS!!

10-04-2009, 02:40 PM
Very poor game by this Ref crew.
That call on Mason was weak. And the announcer agreeing with it makes me sick.
Simms actuallty said. "Well there wasn't much there........." BUT
But what you jackass? If there is not much there you don't throw the flag.
Shove that up your ass Simms.
Nice play Willis and Joe!!!
Ravens45
10-04-2009, 02:40 PM
TOUCHDOWN.... RRRRRRAVENS!!
Willis McGahee has been a beast this year! 7 TD's already!
darb72
10-04-2009, 02:40 PM
TD McGhee.
That's seven for him this season. Anybody wishing he was on their fantasy team right about now?
RavenScallywag
10-04-2009, 02:40 PM
I hope the D steps it up this round...I think we're starting to click on Offense again, if the D can hold, we can still win this!
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:41 PM
Great move by Willis, survives the helmet to helmet hit (with no call, of course), and holds on for the TD.
COME ON DEFENSE
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:41 PM
TD!!! Time for a big stand Defense
Lee Van Cleef
10-04-2009, 02:41 PM
That's more like it.
Better protection, better playcalling, better running. This is the multi-faceted offense we saw the last few weeks.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:43 PM
Yanda is standing up to his rushes, Oher is protecting well.
Maroney to the 26.
OwingsMillsAlex
10-04-2009, 02:44 PM
TD McGhee.
That's seven for him this season. Anybody wishing he was on their fantasy team right about now?
Actually he IS on my fantasy team.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:45 PM
1st, Taylor for 2.
2nd and 8, incomplete for Welker. Carr all over that.
3rd and 8, Ray on the delayed blitz leaves the middle wide open and Welker complete for 11. Zibby beat.
Raveninwoodlawn
10-04-2009, 02:46 PM
Why is Zibby in there covering Walker?
We have 2 other CB's that should be playing especially when it comes to covering Welker.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:46 PM
1st, pocket collapses, Brady rolls, keeps and runs for 7.
2nd and 3, no one on Brady, little dump to Welker for 4.
52decleetzu
10-04-2009, 02:47 PM
Hell of a play by JJ to shed that blocker and then trip him up...nice.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:48 PM
1st, Maroney dances and loses 1.
2nd and 11, quick hit to Morris who slips through and gets 15. And Ayanbadejo is hurt.
I think its his left arm.
PARavensJeff
10-04-2009, 02:48 PM
Where's the holding on Moss on that 1? & they get a 1st down because of it
RavenScallywag
10-04-2009, 02:49 PM
Unless we can hold them to 3 here, I think the Pats have this game in hand. They are moving it at will against us.
RavensInBrazil
10-04-2009, 02:50 PM
They don't call holding anymore, just once in a while to pretend
52decleetzu
10-04-2009, 02:50 PM
Where's the holding on Moss on that 1? & they get a 1st down because of it
Yep, Moss basically grabbed Brendan as he was flying by, preventing him from making the tackle and giving the Pats a 13 yd gain.
GaRaven
10-04-2009, 02:50 PM
One play!! C'mon!!! Defense needs to get the ball back right here!!!
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:51 PM
Apparently a knee on Brendan. He can't put any weight on it. That could be a season ender..
1st, from the 36, Faulk has a ton of room on the draw, gets 9 -10 yards. Call it a first.
Raveninwoodlawn
10-04-2009, 02:51 PM
This is the type of game where we really miss Rex Ryan.
Ryan would be having actual CB's out there covering WR's instead of CB's and S's.
Mattison wants to play traditional 2 LB's and instead of CB's, have Safeties out there.
Sephy
10-04-2009, 02:53 PM
1st, Faulk for 3.
2nd and 7, caught by Faulk, Reed says incomplete for 6. Ooh that ball hit the turf. Ravens are challenging.

replays look like he caught it cleanly...Ed Reed was ADAMANT he didn't make it, that's probably why Harbaugh challenged...I don't see it, I think it was a catch

Please keep them out of the endzone.
1st from the 15, caught at the 10 by Morris.
2nd and 4, thrown wide for Moss.
3rd and 4, batted and incomplete. FUCKING PHEW.
4th and 4, quick snapped and thrown to Baker. Illegal motion.
4th and 9, now they will kick it..I think.
Harbaugh getting an explanation cause they might have been short anyway.
52decleetzu
10-04-2009, 03:02 PM
Just do what you have been doing offense, march it right down the field.
Whenever we get the ball back.
Keep trying to make up some rules for the Pats Simms. You are making an ass out of yourself.
Raveninwoodlawn
10-04-2009, 03:03 PM
Why didn't they measure?!!!!!!
I think it was a catch, but no way they give him the first on that play...he was short!!!!!!
The ref's should be measuring the spot, and then if it is short, giving us the ball!
Sephy
10-04-2009, 03:03 PM
Harbaugh is now officially challenging that he was short.

I have no clue what Harbaugh was challenging there. Of course the refs said it would have been a first down since they suck.
Ok, offense. Need y'all to go ahead and score a TD here so we can win this game.

Secondly, we didn't run the ball until the game was almost over. Why pass almost the entire game on every play?
Thirdly, our secondary. Again. I said this last week and people jumped all over me. Our secondary has been a weakness all season (except for against CLE. No big feat there.)
In most ways, we deserved to have won this game due to the constant bull crap calls coming from the refs. But at the same time, our defense wasn't their usual self for most of the game.

I'm still in shock.
Can't believe he dropped that ball.
That was Travis Taylor esque.
I know nobody feels worse than Clayton, but when you are getting paid to make plays, you can't blow routine plays. Don't look to make a move, just catch the ball.

if we're going to pick Clayton apart for the drop, you can pick apart Mason for dropping it on 3rd and 4.
Those guys fought, just had a tough task and couldn't get it done today. The pre-Harbaugh and Flacco Ravens wouldn't have gotten beyond the midfield.

Why didn't Harbaugh call TO?! There were 30 seconds left on 4th and 3 with the crowd making noise. AT THE MOST CRITICAL PART OF THE GAME. Call time, get your guys together and calmed, and punch into the endzone for the win.

Not calling a timeout wasn't the problem. If you waste your TO, and don't go out of bounds (which is pretty unlikely there), you have about 15 seconds and 3 downs only.
The problem is that useless twit can't make a catch with the game on the line if his life depended on it. That's a catch that makes a difference between a bye or not.

Heartbreaking loss, but in the grand scheme I'm not too worried. We went out and played a solid game, and even with all our costly mistakes we were within a few yards of coming out of there with a victory. No one here was expecting 16-0... it'll be important to see how we bounce back against Cincinnati next week.
Hope Gaither is okay and can make it back sometime this season, the sooner the better... OT is one of the few positions where we're really thin, and losing him for an extended period of time would really affect what Cameron can do with the offense.

And just once, in these statement games, I'd like to see the doing everything they can to win it, and in the end walking out smiling.
It was nice to be in with a chance at the end, but without dumb penalties, drops...the team probably could have won it.
This also goes to show that when QBs make legendary drives happen, they do it with other players matching that contribution.

And on the secondary - please. Its Tom Freaking Brady. He only threw for 250 yards. He's if not the best, the 2nd best QB in the NFL. There is no shame there. He has 2 outstanding WRs. Belichick is the best coach in the NFL.
Lots of things loom large about this game. The Gaither injury, the pass heavy approach, the bad pass picked at the end of the first half.
We lost a game to a great team that came down to a dropped pass. I'm as furiously pissed as anyone, but come on.

give this loss til Tuesday. Your head will clear and it will be easier to see that yes, we had a couple mistakes which killed us and we're STILL a contending team. We're STILL going to hold the lead in the AFC North...either tying Cincy if they win in OT or holding the lead if they lose.
We were a team made out of wood this week. Next week, we're going to come out the gate made of steel. This game will yield a LOT of fixes.

There are many things that go into this loss.
The Carr fumble.
Joe's INT at the end of the half when we should have at least got 3.
Some questionable ref calls.
But when you fight and fight and fight through all of that, and you have a chance at the end, you have to make the easy plays.
Mason didn't come down with the ball, but you know, the defender was all over him.
Clayton was WIDE open, all he had to do was catch and fall down, and the ball ricochets off his chest.
The tough plays are tough...and there is a reason why we make a big deal when players make them.
You need to make the easy play though...and in a big moment, Clayton couldn't make an easy play.
And that is VERY upsetting and disappointing.

:grbac: In no way am I blaming Harbaugh! It's not his fault we lost. I was just asking out loud why wasn't a TO called? That's all. There's no finger pointing towards him in any way.
I just think that time should have been called. It was a make-or-break moment in the game. What do you have to lose? If you don't convert, game over. I would have called time, get the guys together (cause you know the adrenaline is rushing 1,000 mph) and get them totally focused on what's about to happen on this next play. Get them focused so they can convert or score. If not, it's over. No harm done in calling TO.

When the ball hit Clayton in the chest, the closest guy was 2-3 yards away...they were closing, but when you have 2-3 yards of separation, that is wide open in the NFL.
Joe may have thrown a split second too late, but Clayton made his move, stopped, and drifted back...probably unnecessarily but you never know how a minor thing like that may mess up your concentration...and the ball bounced off his chest, while falling back, reached out and then the guy hit him.
That is an easy play in this league...if you are a pro WR, you are expected to make that play with relative ease.
There is no argument.....Clayton had the ball hit him in the fucking chest without a receiver near him.....he lost the fucking game!!!

I didn't think Suggs "hit" him. Looked like a grazing at most. The sickening calls-- on the Bodden int, clearly illegal contact (especially as compared to the Carr call). This missed call led to a point swing that became key.Bad stuff. There was also a blatant block in the back on a Brady run right in front of the Ravens bench. And when the hell does a coach get penalized for saying something was a BS call? Huh? And the spot on the fake FG.
We still shoulda taken it, but the officiating was horrid; but what's worse is that it was unbalanced.

This is why I don't buy that the team's mentality has changed. They go to the press after the game and complain, there were some shit calls yes, but there were some deserved ones too. When you play the game you don't stew on it to let it out in the PC, you go out there and use it as fuel to beat the living crap of the guy in front of you.
Harbaugh is starting to imposee himself on the team more, and I like that, but these guys need to get away from this petty stuff and look at the big picture.

The fact is he took two or three steps forward whilst going down, he knows that hitting the QB around the knees is an injury. He also knows Hollywood Tom makes soccer players look like stalwarts, he could have gone to the side of Brady and avoided hitting him in the legs. That was what the rule was made for, to stop people going in at the knees when they can avoid it.

The key word here is avoid it, if you are going to the ground and barely touch the guy, i'm pretty sure he was avoiding it. If you watch the play I'm sure Suggs could have combined some of his many muscles to dive into the legs of Brady if that is what he was triing to do.
