That was one of the most beautifull balls I've seen Flacco throw.

Hell yes, friends!

23-7 Ravens! Just an absolutely pretty throw from Flacco. I love our QB :)

Touchdown Mason!!! Now there is our offense!!!!

Joe Flacco never lost his cool. Very good drive.

Has Haushka been destroying the ball today or what?

This is where Orton makes a mistake.

Will the real Kyle Orton please show up now.. :)

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:26 PM
Flacco may not have had men open deep, but he has been outstanding today. 79% completions, QBR of 109.

Imagine what this kid can do once we get him some players that can get open deep. Damn.

mjones73
11-01-2009, 02:26 PM
Has Haushka been destroying the ball today or what?

Yeah, he's been redeeming himself all day, I like how he's bounced back.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:27 PM
1st, Orton goes for Gaffney deep, and Foxworth flies in and bats it away. Great coverage.
2nd, complete to Gaffney, right in the hole in the zone.

1st from the 37, Moreno for 1.
2nd and 9, blitz stopped very well by the Broncos, dump to Graham, breaks 2 tackles including Suggs, gets 4-5 yards.
3rd and 3, Reed blows up Royal, incomplete! Marshall calling for a flag again. Shocker. Good no call.

Carr fair catch at the 25.

Did they score?

Please get Chris Carr off the field!

Did they score?

Nope, forced a punt. Our ball around the 25 i think

Chris Chester just go pushed 5 yards into the backfield. Andre Davis has been destroying Chester the entire game.

Flacco sacked for a loss

baltimore_hokie
11-01-2009, 02:35 PM
How about the special teams today????

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:35 PM
1st, Ray Rice tackled 5 yards deep. Cam is seriously annoying me with this first down run stuff. The Broncos have been reading and anticipating it all game. But it continues.
2nd and 14, Flacco scrambles, then decides to protect the ball and takes the sack. WTF was Grubbs doing on that play? He just totally ignored him.
3rd and long, screen to Rice gets back to the 23, and the Ravens will punt.

Royal swarmed under at the 23. Just outstanding coverage today! I don't know if Roswell or Harbaugh coached these guys up over the break, but this is the best coverage I've seen from the Ravens on kicks in years.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:36 PM
Give the Broncos a ton of credit - their D is legit. Very solid players.

However, that offense, specifically Orton's inability to complete passes over 10-15 yards is going to hinder them, and the Ravens are handing every other team a blueprint to beat these guys defensively.

TTRaven
11-01-2009, 02:38 PM
Chris Carr makes a play!

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:38 PM
1st, screen to Buckhalter, read perfectly by Reed who drags him out of bounds! Big loss.
2nd and 15, over the middle to Marshall incomplete. Great breakup by Foxworth. Perfect coverage.
3rd, Carr on the blitz, SACKS ORTON!!

WELCOME BACK, BALTIMORE RAVENS DEFENSE!!

Dade
11-01-2009, 02:39 PM
Carr actually did something!

mjones73
11-01-2009, 02:39 PM
Damn, who's in Carr's jersey?

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:40 PM
Ravens run into Berger. Tyree specifically. Running into the kicker, and not roughing thankfully.

Carr had a good return too. Damn.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:41 PM
Punt #2, another nice return from Carr, almost to midfield. Maybe he is getting some confidence back.

TTRaven
11-01-2009, 02:42 PM
Hopefully that sack by Carr gives him a confidence boost. He looked solid on the return with the Tyree penalty.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:43 PM
1st, from the Ravens 47, another run, but this time Rice finds a seam and gets 7 or 8.
2nd and a long 2, LeRon for 1.
3rd and 1, TO Ravens

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:44 PM
3rd and 1, McClain bulls for 15+ yards down to the 25!

Dade
11-01-2009, 02:45 PM
I love the rounding game being this successfull in the 4th eating clock away.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:46 PM
1st, Rice goes through a small hole but grabs 6. Running strong.
2nd and 4, Rice stumbles through no hole and gets 2.
3rd and 2, shotgun give to McClain for 10+ and a first. Love it.

TTRaven
11-01-2009, 02:48 PM
I think it's about time to get Yanda in at RG. Chester is having a horrible game.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:48 PM
1st and goal from the 7, give to McClain for 2. Offensive holding called.
1st and goal from the 16, Rice finds a hole and busts for 12-13 yards.
A Bronco is down.

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:50 PM
Clock should run to the 2 minute mark. Maybe not. Rice stopped in the backfield for a loss.

Broncos use a TO? LOL. Come on, McDaniels

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:51 PM
3rd and goal, 2:04 left, from the 7, Rice up the middle, TOUCHDOWN RAVENS!!!

Game over! That was exciting to watch. Everyone played like a Raven today. Even the refs couldn't hold us back. Next up Cincy. Payback is a bitch!

Sephy
11-01-2009, 02:55 PM
That'll seal it. I was confident after the Minnesota loss the Ravens would come out and blow out the Broncos, and they did. If these teams played 10 times I'd be surprised if the Ravens lost more than once.

That said, the team is now 4-3 and heading to Cincy for another huge game. Win that one, and it is truly game on. Especially since the Browns are after that.

I look for this team to be 6-3 heading to play Indy.

Special Teams have been outstanding today. No miss FGs, great returns, one for a TD, excellent coverage.

A definate sigh of relief here. It was like the secondary looked themselves in the mirror during the bye and realized they needed to step up. Foxworth played great and gasp.....so did Carr.

The offense started really slow but stepped up in the second half bigtime. I love Kelley Washington. No real bad throws by Flacco, and that one flip to Rice as he was being sacked better make Sportscenter tonight. This kid is such the real deal.

I had my camera today and have some great pictures including Mason's TD catch. I'll post them this week.

Oh, and Flacco was 80% completions today.

Let me repeat that. Flacco was 80% completion today.

80 freaking percent.

I don't know where this defensive intensity came from, but welcome to earth. It was unreal that we looked so good today on defense like the old days. I think we see this D in somewhat this capacity the rest of the season. The offense was special as well. Converting 3rd downs on that defense and scoring in the 4th qtr when Denver has only given up six points all year. We are arriving guys. This team is balanced and I love how the pressure made any shortcomings in the secondary appear non existent. Big kudos to the players and also Mattison for obviously changing a lot in that bye week. Also I want to give a congrats to Webb today on that kickoff return. That part of our game has been sorely missed since the BJ Sams days. Great game by the Ravens all around. Anyone hear on Ngata yet?

The only downside I see from this game...

Stupid Anita Marks will still be on her soapbox Monday about McGahee getting more touches in this offense. She won't have a leg to stand on regarding Brandon Marshall though.

Our offense was reserved but VERY efficient
Our defense was inspired
and our ST was HUGE...Hauschka 3/3, Webb big TD return, hell evel Carr looked better.

Great statement, now the toughness continues against the Bengals. Just think, we have the Browns in 2 weeks, nice opportunity to beat up on a team.

I'm hoping for the Broncos to get a big time rebound next Monday vs Pittsburgh. The way they looked against us I'm not betting on it but it's a new week.
