Did anyone else start one of these? I don't see it.

Stumpy

No, not Nakumura

Flipping Birdie
11-16-2009, 07:45 PM
So, all whites, huh? It's been awhile.

Stumpy
11-16-2009, 07:47 PM
NOT a good start!

Stumpy
11-16-2009, 07:48 PM
Yep... all whites. Still not a good way to go.

Dade
11-16-2009, 07:48 PM
And another slow start.

Stumpy
11-16-2009, 07:50 PM
What would he challenge there...

Dade
11-16-2009, 07:50 PM
Bad challenge, Jamal was clearly down.

Stumpy
11-16-2009, 07:50 PM
Never mind... could be a good one

11-16-2009, 07:50 PM
Come on Harbs....dumb call.

Flipping Birdie
11-16-2009, 07:51 PM
Waste of a challenge.

Sleepwalking through another start of a game.

What the hell?

purple bird
11-16-2009, 07:52 PM
Harbaugh probably was going to call a timeout anyway because of the hurry up and wild cat the browns were going into. Therefore, if you are going to blow a timeout, just challenge the last play as well.

Stumpy
11-16-2009, 07:54 PM
Much better run D... I want to see Kruger though

Stumpy
11-16-2009, 07:55 PM
Nice... good eyes by Landry

True, but just call the TO. Now you wasted a challenge. If we lucky wont have to worry about that.

Thats cool... I'd like to see L-train some more tonight

camdenyard
11-16-2009, 08:01 PM
Man, I am not seeing the passion out there on offense. Joe looks like he's asleep. The OL isn't protecting.

Step it up!

Wtf offense!!!!! Get your shit together!

Dade
11-16-2009, 08:04 PM

It looks to me like Chester is giving up way too much ground and forcing Joe to throw early. Yanda?

YRKPARAVEN
11-16-2009, 08:13 PM
We need to throw a pass downfield, screen passes all night aren't going to work.

808 Raven

Can we ask for the ball to be set-up about 10 feet more to the right before the next field goal? :261695:

Christ! 12 men on the field.. Maybe we can make it with 13???

ravenjoe

It sure looks like the Browns are playing with more 'urgency' than our 52 mighty men!

808 Raven
11-16-2009, 08:18 PM

I tried to believe, I sided with Harbaugh, I felt sorry for him and I hoped for the best.
Bottom line, too few kickoffs to the end zone and too many misses.

We need a change!

baltimore_hokie
11-16-2009, 08:19 PM
...and the league leader in fair catches adds to his lead...

So what happened to the vaunted offensive line we were supposed to have this year???

purple bird
11-16-2009, 08:20 PM
The way the announcers are talking, you'd think that Brady Quinn was the second coming of Joe Montana. The bias of the nfl media against us is outrageous. In the pregame, mention of the Ravens being the "old Browns" happened about 5-6 times. Right now I am seeing a montage about the "Browns" moving (even though the Browns never moved, they stayed in Cleveland).

Any mention of how awesome our runing backs look right now?

sh0time

ravenjoe
11-16-2009, 08:22 PM

ESPN = The Browns television network

808 Raven

If he's lucky. He might be trying to call for a taxi instead.

StingerNLG
11-16-2009, 08:25 PM
Ok, so what the fuck is going on here?? No offense whatsoever?? One pass so far to a wide receiver and it was high.

The Browns are playing like they want to win this game. I'm not sure what the Ravens are playing like right now.

ravenjoe
11-16-2009, 08:26 PM
NICE TACKLE DOMONIQUE! Oz, our boys(Foxworth/Hauschka) are doing real well tonight!

Broken right ankle for Nakamura, one of my favorites on the Ravens. Ouch.

RavenScallywag
11-16-2009, 08:27 PM
I've been a Hauschka defender, but I think tonight is really the turning point. He's missing NON-clutch kicks now in easy situations. I think it's time to bring in another kicker, because Hauschka isn't getting better...he's actually getting worse. And I know he's had the same mistake each time, but you tell me he can't have fixed that by now?

festivus
11-16-2009, 08:29 PM
I don't care what Gruden says, Quinn sucks.

ravenjoe

Yea, I agree - pretty pathetic performance by our O so far. D is playing ok, though.

Stumpy

Got to tell you... this is a piss poor game to watch. And I'm interested in the game.

RavenScallywag
11-16-2009, 08:31 PM
Cleveland is playing with heart, but you can really see that they don't have it together...Quinn and the WRs not on the same page at all.

Please, let's play with some passion here. Show the NFL we're for real, and not just a team that beats up on bad teams.

ravenjoe

I can't believe its still 0-0. Why am I starting to actually feel the pit of my stomach knotting up?

Its not going to be long before Quinn makes a big play and we will be down. In the meantime our OL can't protect Flacco, and our WR's again cannot get open.

camdenyard
11-16-2009, 08:31 PM

Not really an option for tonight.

RavenScallywag
11-16-2009, 08:32 PM
Yea, but we saved a roster spot!!!

I was behind the decision up until tonight...but now it's clear that he's not getting it done and he's not getting better. If he was getting better, I'd be fine riding out the occasional miss.

Big Bird
11-16-2009, 08:33 PM
Running game is going good. Too little passing. Super pass to Heap just now. He's groggy from the hit.

Need offense for a change...

festivus
11-16-2009, 08:33 PM
Don't know how Heap holds on to the ball when he's unconscious like that...

Nice catch, Heap! You're tough as nails!

RavenScallywag
11-16-2009, 08:34 PM
Not really an option for tonight.

The longer we play hapless against the Browns, the dumber we look as a team.

If we take care of business here, at least we're showing some sparks.

baltimore_hokie
11-16-2009, 08:35 PM
Flacco looks like dog shit again. If his first read isn't open he is tucking the ball away and running around like a faggot. This is hard to watch.

Not trying to be a negative Nancy here...

But this is embarassing...

ravenjoe
11-16-2009, 08:35 PM
Offense looks pathetic!

Big Bird
11-16-2009, 08:35 PM
Ya know... It's ok to establish the run and mix it with the pass. But these receivers of our can't seem to get open. Joe is under lots of pressure on pass plays,,

God do we need receivers...

Now that's trouble!

Gruden lands a GOOD one!!

ravenwoman
11-16-2009, 08:37 PM
We really STINK so far. What is wrong with this team? What do they do all week in practice? They might as well fire Haushka on the spot. Flacco is playing like a rookie. If we lose this game, they might as well kiss the season goodbye.

ravenjoe
11-16-2009, 08:37 PM
Embarrassing - 4 out of 5 weeks we put up with this performance. Time to raise our season ticket prices, SB!

Raveninwoodlawn
11-16-2009, 08:37 PM
I don't know what the fuck happened to our OL but since the first Cincy game, they have sucked ass.

And after this epic battle, the Ravens find the Irsays waiting for them on a short week.

That will be fun!

RavenScallywag
11-16-2009, 08:38 PM
Even if we win this game, we don't look like a good team. Plain and simple, this play against the Colts or Steelers? We'd be DEAD IN THE WATER.

StingerNLG
11-16-2009, 08:38 PM
This is making me sick. On top of that the lovefest for the Browns by ESPN tonight is making me throw up.

Gruden's throwback jersey comment was pretty funny though. I do like him in the booth.

baltimore_hokie
11-16-2009, 08:38 PM
This is what a young QB looks like when he doesn't have any protection up front. Joe is running for his life and is getting scared every time he drops back. This OL is just not getting it done right now.

CRZA938
11-16-2009, 08:39 PM

Exactly. No pocket and no seperation. I am starting to doubt. Maybe we're just not good...

Yeah, HUGE Browns love fest on ESPN right now.

12 men on the field AGAIN. Yup, it's official, we're just a bad team.

festivus
11-16-2009, 08:43 PM
I know I just wrote this but Quinn really looks like garbage. He looks less accurate then he did in the first game, and when he finally goes straight back in the pocket, he has no idea what to do with the ball & eats it.

CRZA938
11-16-2009, 08:43 PM
Did I mention that Cleveland's D was last in the league. This is embarrassing.

Harbaugh says every week "We gotta get better, we gotta work on this and that". Well, I have not seen any improvement. None. What's the deal about challenging the first play of the game? Our clock management goes to show very poor coaching and discipline. A scoreless game at halftime against the Browns is like being down 60-0 against the Colts. Which by the way may be the score next week.

Nice to see the team come up prepared for this game.

Absolutely absurd.

Defensive coordinators have CLEARLY figured out this offense. Most routes don't include a receiver in between the hashes.

Anyone been watching Grubbs and Chester closely? They are getting abused.

This team is COMPLETELY undisciplined as well.

The refs just declared that the game is over. They can do that in Cleveland.

RavenScallywag

Our defense hasn't looked all that bad, it's the offense that is sluggish. We're starting to look like the pre-Flacco/pre-Harbaugh Ravens...

We need to find efficiency on offense. We can't help our kicker situation until next week, so let's just hope we can get in the endzone.

Defensive coordinators have CLEARLY figured out this offense. Most routes don't include a receiver in between the hashes.
P

Safety over the top on Mason's side, cover Rice everywhere he goes. Do that, and this offense is done.

Goddamn this is sickening

ravenjoe

Wish we could see what's going on in the locker room...Wouldn't be suprised if Harbaugh has no voice after this. Needs to be screaming his head off about how bad we've looked here.

I really haven't seen much 'fire' from this team all year, with the exception of the Broncos game. A team reflects the personality of its coach, and this entire coaching staff seems a bit laid back for my taste! What this team needs is a good 'collective' kick in the derrier!

seems like we have gotten predictable on offence. i see to many plays when joe does have time, get dumbed off to a check down. teams have been taking away mace and after that i dont see to many other options. i think we need to come out and run on 1st & 2nd and then get sexy in the play calling on 3rd and manageable

I don't know if this can be said for Mattison, but I have the feeling that Cameron sometimes holds his cards "close to the vest" in not showing too much in games against the likes of the Browns.
