The moderators here are determined to keep the personal attacks to a minimum. Feel free to attack ideas in a civil manner, but we won't have name calling and the like. If you like that kind of thing hit the smak forum. I can give you a link to the AFCN Rantatorium if you enjoy kicking Clownfans around as well.
That being said, if you find a particular poster annoying, click on their name and select view public profile. Closely check it out, you can put the poster on your ignore list and POOF!, you won't see their takes again.
HEY, DON'T PUT ME ON YOUR IGNORE YET! HOLD ON!
Okay, unfortunately I don't think the mods can do that because we have to keep an eye on everybody, including those lame-asses that are obviously not as brilliant.
If you find anything else cool put it in here.

There are space limitations on a few things. Custom titles are limited, for example. I can't be "Condescending, Arrogant, Pompous Windbag" at this time.

Anything can be changed. This place has about 3000 settings including custom title length.
I figured that could wait while you get the more important stuff done.

The ignore feature is a great thing. I have been members of other message boards using the VBulletin and the ignore feature is cool. Only downside of it, is that if someone responds to a poster that you ignored, you will see it.
I also like the Quick Links feature up at the top which you can go to Today's Post, and user controls

Interestingly, there is a very cool feature for Admins: if there is a particular pesky poster, we can simply - with a couple of keystrokes, put him on everyone's ignore list without the poster knowing.
It almost warrants inviting Buckdodgers over just to try it doesn't it??

That option might be better than a ban in some cases.
The effect is certainly the same, except the ignored poster just keeps on ranting until he starts to wonder why no one is responding.

I'd say that is a perk. I'd get a lot of satisfaction watching some troll get increasingly pissed off because no-one is responding to his jibes. People would ask you, what's Oldfan been talking about since we universally ignored him? You could then tell us he's posted 403 times saying Boller sucks. The same would apply to Burghsouth and the two takes he's somehow extended into 2,000 posts.
