I know there was some horses&*t from the Steelers about a Dublin game, but isn't it about now the c&*p starts?
Or is everything NFL frozen until the CBR is sorted?

I think they can't sort anything until they agree a new CBA, they've not even fully agreed the new schedule yet (although I think it's tentatively in place if its a 16 game season to carry on as before)

Personally I don't think you'll see a game over this way this year. The CBA nonsense looks like it will be going on until well into March and possibly April so can't see them organising everything for a Wembley game with 6 months notice.

You used to always have the game confirmed around late December and then the teams came out shortly after.

The whole idea came about by Dan Rooney being US Ambassador to Ireland so somewhere, an idea took off about a Dublin game

I strolled over to a Steeler forum, registered and asked about this, it's was the only question I asked.
They seemed enthusiastic about it, I was surprised. But they reckoned it would be a road conference game so that would the Cardinals.

I suppose I could ask this question on forums for all 32 teams and nobody wants to lose a home game

Dan Rooney was on Newstalk radio during the week, it's an Irish national radio station.
He poured cold water all over the idea, it seems dead in the water now

Halling did a lick arse interview on SKY before the play-offs with Dan Rooney SNR - in which he got all starry eyed 'bout the Emerald Isle' and the subject was raised. He said he was up for it.
