When Billy Lynch first realized that Tandon Doss might allow his promising football career to implode, the Indiana assistant coach did not call the wide receiver into his office or even grab him by the facemask and stare him in the eyes. By then he knew how much football meant to Doss, who was the Ravens' fourth round pick in the 2011 draft, but he hadn't yet begun to understand the factors that sometimes caused the player who seemed to catch every pass to lose focus on the game he loves.

Interesting article. The young man has had his share of adversity. Hopefully it makes him want it more, because his size definitely brings an added element to the team.

I have a strong feeling that Tandan Doss is going to be the David Reed of the 2011 Baltimore Ravens. He will now be the receiver with the potential, who excels at special teams, but is stuck lower on the depth chart for the entire season. David Reed will see time in the slot and Torrey Smith fits more of a need for this offense.
