Single-game tickets for the Baltimore Ravens’ 2011 home games at M&T Bank Stadium will go on sale next Friday, Aug. 5, at 10 a.m.

Tickets can only be purchased online or by phone. Online, tickets will be available through www.BaltimoreRavens.com or www.ticketmaster.com. By phone, the local number to call is 410-547-SEAT.

The stadium box office will open starting on Monday, Aug. 8, and will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. through the conclusion of the season. Additional hours will be offered on game days and on Saturdays prior to a Sunday home game.

Since 2001, single-game tickets for regular season games have sold out within the first 15 minutes of the start of sale. Preseason games have sold out within a few days from the beginning of the sale.

M&T Bank Stadium, the home of the Ravens, has a capacity of 71,008. After earning a third-consecutive playoff berth last season with a 12-4 record, the team has again seen a strong renewal rate from season ticket holders.

“Once again, over 99 percent of our permanent seat license owners are back and ready for football,” Ravens vice president of ticket sales and operations Baker Koppelman said. “It’s been an amazing and enthusiastic response from our invested fans.”

God I hate Ticketmaster. You're better off buying from Craigslist/forums.

Fat chance I'll get a ticket. I was online, on my home phone and my cell phone, ALL AT ONCE and couldn't get through to buy a ticket.

Sucks!

Remember that we were also to have had first right at non-Ravens events, like the Army-Navy games. I guess there's no truth in advertising law in Maryland!

btw: for those who get skunked by Ticketmaster, I have successfully used this approach in the past: Ask someone you know who is a season ticket holder of one of the Ravens visiting team opponents to sign up for player-turnback tickets through his team's ticket office. For the Cardinals-Ravens game a few years ago, we wound up buying about 6-8 tickets this way, at face value

Contacted the Ravens about this. If you are a seasons ticket holder you will receive an email Monday informing you that a pre-sale of single game tickets will take place on Friday 08/04/11.

Did they happen to mention the time and through what outlet? i.e. Ravens ticket Office or, more likely, Ticketmaster.

They didn't say T. All they said was we will get an email Monday 8/1/11.

with the presale tixs, are they mostly upper level?
Or do owners get their pick of good seats?
Do they sell out in minutes as well?
Whats the limit?
Im a new season ticket holder :-)

From my experience they are almost all upper deck and very high in the upper deck.

There are usually some club level tickets floating around but they are very expensive.

The high profile games will not only sell out but will be damn near impossible to sniff even if you call or log on the second they go on sale.

Games like the Browns and Bengals are usually available.

Pretty sure the limit for high profile games was 2 per PSL or maybe per account.

Can't remember exactly.

Anyone get this e-mail? Poeboy said the office indicated an e-mail would be mailed to PSL owners today.

There are upper deck seats in Rows 1 through 3 that are available for single game tix. You just have to be lucky enough to snag them. As I recall, the Ravens never sold Rows 1, 2 or 3 in the upper deck as PSL's. In fact, when the stadium first opened, there were several sections that didn't even have seats in front of Row 4. They did that thinking they would need those areas for handicap seating and other temp seating.

At any rate, you can still snag some good low row UD seats during the single game ticket sale if you're lucky.

Got it.

Dear Mr. FearTheRaven,

One benefit provided to PSL Owners in past seasons has been the opportunity to participate in a special lottery for a limited number of individual game tickets prior to public sale. We intended to hold a similar lottery for this season but the uncertainty created by the work stoppage caused us to alter that plan. Due to time constraints, rather than hold a lottery, we will provide PSL owners access to an exclusive online presale this Thursday, August 4 at 10:00 a.m.

Thanks, I got mine last night as well, I just needed to have more patience grasshopper...

Just putting this out there, I am in need of 4 extra tickets for the Houston game 10/16 for friends coming into town. I will try on Thursday but don't have high hopes based on past years experience with pre-sales through ticketbastard. My friends are willing to pay above face value but are trying to not pay ridiculous prices. Please PM me if you have any extras.

We shall see. I've never had luck with these on-line thingies. Three visitors from Ireland want Steelers tix -- I'll try that ultra long shot at 10 am Thursday.

If any of your friends are Texans season ticket holders, they should try for leftover players' tickets via the Texans ticket office. This approach used to work for me, with the Ravens ticket office, for many Ravens away games (until the practice became so well known that the Ticket Office now holds a lottery instead of first-come-first-served).

I got no such e-mail from the Ravens. Did anybody else not get this e-mail?

Is it just a matter of logging on with my PSL account at 10:00 AM, or is there some sort of "secret" code?
