Titans have absolutely dominated this game. This team obviously needed to be humbled like this after reading all their press clippings all week.

Game over. Pathetic secondary in this game. Making Hasselbeck look like Johnny U.

They're throwing the ball because we can't stop it. Plain and simple.

One of the most pathetic performances/game plans I've seen in the history of the ravens. Harbaugh/Cameron/Pagano should walk home

I don't know the stats but the Titans 3rd down conversion rates and Britt's line must be sick

I thought that too. The Sports Illustrated Cover jinx.
Harbaugh should have had them better prepared for this game. The same thing happened last year in the 2nd game after a big W against the Jets losing to a bad Bengals team on the road.
Reed and Foxworth have had terrible games.

Great call on de-activating Chykie Brown today coach. When your high-paid-half-a-cornerback gets lit up, you have absolutely NO ONE to turn to. What would have been the difference in letting the rookie try to cover Britt when obviously Foxworth has no ability to?
Why de-activate Tandon Doss if you have no intention of using Torrey Smith?

As bad as our offense was today, our defense did them no favors. At all.
Kenny Britt is a heck of a receiver, but they made Nate Washington, Javon Ringer, and Matt Hasselbeck look like all-stars. Incredible.
Why the heck is Foxworth covering one of the top receivers in the AFC? Did they not CLEARLY see that he's not ready to be out there full time yet? Most of Britt's big catches came against Foxworth, including the TD.
I'm glad we have Foxworth because we obviously need the depth, but put Webb or Cary on the team's best receiver. Don't put a rusty Foxworth.

Completely agree.
We kept David Reed activated...and he had a great kick off return, but we didn't use him at all on offense. I don't understand the personnel moves at all.
They should have anticipated that after last week's performance from our TE's that they were going to be ALL OVER Dickson and Pitta.

I#m not sure if this is actually worse than the Bengals game. We edged the Jets but dominated the Steelers (sure Pit was at home). Cin was largely due to a worse-than-inept offense. This performance is all around disgusting.
The 'only' saving grace is that the Titans aren't in the Ravens division.
Why did we bring Vonta Leach to the Ravens and NOT have him on the field on 3rd and 2?!?

He isn't a franchise QB, he's a Play action QB, that doesn't know his right from left. Its year 4 Joe inconsistencies wont cut it anymore.

Losing an AFC game this early in the season is stupid. Tie breakers are huge (see last season)

It's one thing to lose a game. I can handle a loss. But to absolutely shit the bed on all phases of the game in that loss, is absolutely unacceptable.
The fucking KICKOFF TEAM even got a penalty in this game.
Pathetic offense, pathetic defense that just like last year could not get off the field on 3rd down, and what looked like no heart or passion on the field. When you are down 13 points and you are running on first down, that is absolutely PATHETIC playcalling.
I'm angry about this loss and as a PSL owner I want some answers as to why players that could have contributed on the field today that contributed during pre-season were inactive.

I couldn't wait to get to this board and I skipped to the last page for post like this.
LOL, I'm a diehard Ravens fan but I never laughed so hard about a Ravens loss then I did today. Not at the Ravens team but at the fans that totally went overboard with last week's win. I didn't want to say it but I knew they would either lose or just barely squeak out a win today. After all I heard during the week and read like Schmucks column about addition by subtraction I knew this game was going to be an explosion of emotions by the fans.
I'm gonna have to say that we have an average team folks. The Ravens had all offseason to prepare for last week and a week to prepare for this week. The team that played last week doesn't play like they did today if they're for real.
I hate to say it but that's what it looks like to me. The coaches had no answer for anything the Titans did. The players couldn't even find it in themselves to do something that would throw the Titans off. They just went out there and said tell me what to do now coach because I can't figure out how to do it on my own.
This is all I'm gonna say about this week but I will be laughing and enjoying the reaction we're all in for this week. Internet, radio, news paper (I don't read it) Oh man and I can't wait for the Flacco and Cam comments. I'll bet this game starts some Harbaugh's got to go threads. Have a great week..LOL

I haven't heard anyone say eff the whole team. What I've heard is people saying eff the guys who specifically shat the bed today (which were many).
No real reason to come on a Ravens board and taunt and troll your own fan base. You're right--we should be ecstatic about the loss today. We should be even-keeled the whole season, no use for different reactions to blowout wins and half-effort losses.

Pagano: "We're going to be aggressive...." Yeah right, Chuck. Where was that aggression today?
Same problem Mattison had last year. How many times can you bring pressure and leave Foxworth out there one on one?
When the other team knows you have a cripple out there at CB, a blitz is nothing more than an invitation to loft one over the cripple's head. They abused him bad enough as it was.
Goes to show a defense can really be undone by one weak segment or even one weak player. This defense didn't look any different than it looked last week after Carr went out -- the difference was last week we were way ahead and Pitt had to play one dimensional. Factor in that Chris Johnson is their most dangerous player and the D had to keep a lot of guys home to deal with him, that doesn't leave a lot of room for sexy blitz combinations.
They hit the plays they needed to, and quite frankly they were playing with house money. A contending team worried about turnovers isn't going to throw up as many jump balls or wing deep shots into double coverage very often. The Titans did that and it happened to work out for them. On average, that isn't good strategy, but it works here and there and today was their day.
Much more concerned that nobody was open for us on offense. The line seemed to hold up well in protection, but Joe had nobody to throw to. Is Cam back to his old tricks of calling poor route combinations that don't create space? We'll find out later in the week after everybody's had a chance to watch the replays of the game and look more closely at it.
