Where did you get the clip art team logos in the button shapes? They're cool.

We're on the same page with a lot of picks, but I don't think Konz is going to be the pick for Baltimore.
Also, why would the Niners take Stephen Hill when they just signed Mario Manningham and Randy Moss?

I don't think the Ravens draft Konz @ #29. If they trade down, and he's available in round 2, then it's possible. Also you have " With Matt Birk getting up there in age, a replacement will be needed to take over and form a solid interior core with Marshall Yanda and Ben Grubbs. " Better delete Grubbs from your Ravens evaluation... Bc

Given the players that he has off the board before we pick, who would you take BcRaven and wicked?
We won't take QB, David Wilson is an intriguing possibility, but we won't do that unless we feel like Rice is likely gone next year...Stephen Hill maybe, but I'd say that's a dark horse pick, we have much more pressing needs than taking another WR high. Same can be said of Coby Fleener at TE. You could go Zeitler or Silatolu at OG, but most sites have Konz graded out higher than those two. The next OT up is John Martin from Stanford. We won't go DT, no good 3-4 DE types I can see left. The only OLB value I see there is Zach Brown, and with his size, he's probably a bit small to be playing 3-4 OLB. With Hightower off the board, ILB would be a reach. I'm not so sure the Ravens would roll the dice on another CB with character concerns with Janoris Jenkins. Maybe S, they go with Harrison Smith.
To me, when you look at the players going off the board ahead of our pick...My two likely outcomes are trade down, or Konz. He fills a need, he grades well there, he can play OG at a high level before sliding into the OC spot. Just makes too much sense. The only reason I'd say maybe not is that Ozzie loves acumulating picks. To trade down though, there needs to be someone sliding that another team really wants.

Unless someone slips, I really see the Ravens trading out (if possible) and accumulating picks.

I totally agree with you here. I doubt they go with Konz @ 29. Konz only putting up 18 reps @ the combine is a red flag imo for an interior lineman especially if your investing a first round pick on him. Not saying he wont be a good player or a bust but saying that I am guessing this will raise some questions as to if he is truly worth using the 29th pick on. Ravens generally go BPA and I just doubt Konz at 29 will the BPA on their board.

Not sure I agree with the part in bold. Reality is that you have a grand total of TWO receivers on this team that have any significant number of catches. Reid is out. Evans is gone. Doss and Williams did very little last year and Doss seems better suited to fill the slot role at some point when Boldin is gone. Not saying that the Ravens will go WR at 29 but being logical about it, you are more likely to find a veteran at this point who can hold the Gaurd position down a year than you are to find a receiver that will have a meaningful impact on the free agent market after the draft. This team has to get better at the WR position, one could argue the lack of guys who can get separation is as much a prob leading to sacks as the performance of the guys doing the blocking. I would be shocked if they did not go WR with one of the first two picks. Your about to invest 100 million or so in Flacco to tie him up long term, my guess is your gonna wanna give him some decent WR options moving forward beyond Torrey Smith and Boldin who is creeping up in years.

Maybe, but when you figure this is an offense built primarily to run the ball, seems odd that we'd draft another high round receiver. Doss didn't do a lot last year because he was inactive most games. Mainly because he wasn't good at ST I think, but everyone who saw him in camps last year said he was looking better than Torrey Smith. I'm not sure what happened there, but I think he might contribute well this year. That said, I wouldn't pass on drafting a guy solely on Doss' potential, but I think his lack of PT last year was not an indictment of his talent.

Yea I was a little surprised that Doss did not see more playing time last year especially when considering that Lee Evans was out for so long. I think Doss is a guy who would back up Boldin in the slot and could move outside if there were a rash of injuries, just do not see him being as effective outside as he lacks that speed and explosion needed out there to create separation. All I know is that despite the amount of time he was injured they felt more comfortable playing Lee Evans than Williams or Doss in the playoffs.
In a perfect world it would seem to me that the Ravens would like to have Smith and another as yet to be determined player on the outside and have Boldin work from the slot and move outside from time to time in certain sets. I think part of their interest in Ginn was certainly his return abilities, I think the other part was the idea he can stretch the defense as well and as of right now there is nobody in that receiving core who can do that if Smith gets injured. Not saying they will go receiver at #1 just saying I do think they will take on in the first 3 picks though. Far as Konz is concerned, I just think that there will be someone they value more as a BPA, be it another offensive lineman, a LB, WR or even a DB. If there is not I think they will trade back and pick up some extra picks which might be the best option though not the sexiest when you consider the amount of depth that needs to be replaced.

With that and stuff like Luke Kuechly would be the obvious choice for the Eagles, it's clear this mock is pretty dated.

Yea...I guess he missed that they just traded for DeMeco Ryans.
