Thoughts? The 1st season w/ Billick, Siragusa and Shannon Sharpe was classic.

My thoughts..

Don't know about Jim Harbaugh (I'll assume he's similar), but I can';t see John Harbaugh opening up what goes on at 1 winning drive and where ever camps are held to the national media and public to see.
Dude is about as closed as they come regarding anything that doesn't have to be put out for everyone to see.

On a personal note, I say pass as well.

My biggest concern is winning football games and getting to the promised land with as little distraction as possible.

This. I don't want the Ravens to be the center of the circus that would bring.

The NFL is going to slowly milk the hell out of the Harbaugh brothers storyline.

They were talking about it yesterday on ESPN. Chris Mortenson and Mel Kiper were already casting odds that they meet in the Super Bowl. Must have been a slow news day.

Schein says Hard Knocks is interested in featuring both the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers, with a focus on the Harbaugh brothers.

In other words, HBO has interest. Doubtful John has anything remotely resembling interest. John doesn't want you to know if he takes one lump or two in his coffee, much less interest in letting a film crew all up in his face. This is the same Ravens organization that moved training camp away from the public to avoid distractions. The same PR staff that tried to get Terrell Suggs to remove his F Pittsburgh tee shirt before the media saw it. No way they say yes to HBO.

Not a fan. Our team culture is way too secretive and media-averse to want to do Hard Knocks, and John Harbaugh would be an absolute bore. Jim seems more interesting but just as media-averse.

This isn't Brian Billick's Ravens anymore. That team was made for TV--not this one.

Meanwhile, Woody Johnson, Jets owner wants to do the show while Rex Ryan doesn't.

Mixed feelings about this one.

I like the exposure it brings the team. But at what cost? I don't think the filing is that much of a disruption to the day to day operations. That said, I don't want too much getting out either.

If Bisciotti and Harbs agree to it, I'd be ok with it. I trust their judgement.

Please, no I couldn't take it. I avoid his pressers like the plague but people still quote them and talk about them. An hour of coach-speak bullshit? Gahhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Too much of a circus. Pass.

I don't see John being interested. Hasn't he been asked about it in the past year or two and said he wouldn't have interest in it? It would obviously be fun to watch but I don't think it's in the franchise's best interests as far as winning a Super Bowl...

As a fan, I'd love to have the insight, but it's not worth the cost. I'd rather not see the potential distractions that go with the show and I don't think Harbs will want anything to do with it.

No thanks
And Harbaugh would never go for it, strictly from the Andy Reid of speaking and saying nothing at all

I would like to see the Texans on it.
And I think it's possible HBO approach them

The Jets are begging for it and now they have Tebow. That's a lot more tempting for the NFL.

Pass on Ravens/49ers. I've also had enough Jets crap. If HBO wants to follow Tebow in NY, let em, I won't subscribe to HBO just to see Tebow and/or the Jets. I think the Saints and how they deal with their problems would be much more interesting television.

Looks like the Falcons might be up:

Exactly. I want no parts of that with the media these days.

Run like hell John. Please.

It's hard to top the classics, that team was on a completely different level.

I'd like in that I want to get to know more about our players and coaches. Harbaugh's brought in a good group of guys who are generally pretty down to earth and have their heads on straight. I might worry a bit about David Reed, McKinnie, or Ed Reed getting a little too friendly with the camera though.

I think the dual format would be kind of interesting too.
