Says he trys to stop after getting religion but it still pops up in the heat of the game when he's pissed off.
I still cussed 17 times last year he said. I
counted them. ILMAO.
I was just saying the same thing for the same reason about me in the other forum. Most of the guys know me and I shouldn't be cussing but it gets the best of me sometimes.
Anyway, Pollard's story reminds me of Billick's amusing story that was an inside family joke. Billick's
mom was watching a Ravens road game on TV and could read his lips and was shocked at his language so she called the house to complain about it.
His wife answered the phone and she said I didn't raise him to be like that and it looks bad on tv. She said OK mom, I'll tell him.
So she did as soon as he came home, so Billick told the team about his mom complaining about his language and he wanted everyone to fine him $100 for every curse word he said.
The catch was, it had to be on camera not during a commercial break or when his back was turned. He would donate the money to charity.
He ended up giving hundreds, I think thousands to charity.
Anyway, here's an amusing story on Pollard and aren't you glad we signed him.
