Don't be a small minded person and think for a second that you can compare hunting with the dog fighting arena.
Before you speak, take into consideration that these animals are tortured and tormented DAILY from BIRTH to ensure they will become vicious! The people who do this purposely commit cruelties for the sole purpose of gambling and blood thirsty entertainment, and at the end, they don't even provide proper medical care to the injured animals.
Hunting is an act that takes place in all areas of life. It is called the food chain. Sharks hunt seals. Lions hunt Antelope. Cats hunt mice. Did you eat your Big Mac today? Where do you think that meat came from? Don't get me wrong, hunting and killing for sport without the intention of eating the meat is wrong. But don't compare it to a daily activity of torture. Hunters who hunt for trophies also don't leave the animal to die a slow painful death.
Dogs are wonderful animals who offer unconditional love and loyalty. The idea of taking that animals chance for happiness and trade it for a life of torment is unconscionable.
And if you make this a black and white thing you really have a small mind.
