Ha ha! Well given discussions elsewhere on on this board about what the team still needs to do it is interesting to see what others think too. So here's a couple of mocks and what the mockers think of the Ravens. Note- in no way is this a real prediction. Hopefully everyone here realises this.

1. Mocking the draft's Dan Kadar. One of the top mockers year in and year out he gives us this guy with the 26th pick:

26. Baltimore Ravens: Antonio Richardson, OT, Tennessee

The Ravens didn't take an offensive tackle until the fifth round this year, and it's hard to see a scenario where Ricky Wagner is the future at right tackle. Jah Reid is decent, but he shouldn't stop Baltimore from taking a power blocker like Richardson. He can play the left or right side.

2. Staying with Mocking the draft, one sees the not quite as good Matthew Fairburn has a Mock without any commentary. He gives us Sammy Watkins, WR out of Clemson.

3. Moving to Walter football, Walter gives us this with the 14th pick:

Baltimore Ravens: Stephon Tuitt, DT, Notre Dame

I slotted the Ravens here in my power rankings before they signed Elvis Dumervil and Michael Huff. I guess I should have had more faith in Ozzie Newsome.

Newsome signed Chris Canty and Marcus Spears this offseason, but there's no guarantee both of them will hold up, given that they're both 30. Also, Arthur Jones is set to hit free agency next March, so Baltimore could be looking for some more defensive line help.

4. Walter's sidekick, Charlie Campbell does this for the Ravens:

Baltimore Ravens: Deshazor Everett, CB, Texas A&M
The Ravens got a nice value pick with late-rounder Marc Anthony, but Baltimore could use more help at corner.

The Aggies had a lot of breakout players in 2012, and Everett was one that fell under the radar. He had an excellent sophomore season with 56 tackles, two interceptions and seven passes broken up. Everett (6-0, 181) has good length, speed and athletic ability. He stood out on special teams as a freshman.

5. Next NEpatriotsdraft.com's James Christensen, a good mocker gives us this with the 32nd pick:

32. Baltimore Ravens
Dri Archer, RB, Kent State
Archer was the most dynamic runner I watched in 2012 – give him the ball on returns or out of the backfield and let him find his way to the end-zone.

Wow. Don't see a RB in round 1 but it is nice to se someone give the team a little respect with the 32nd pick.

So there you go. As I said above these mocks more reflect what the mockers think the team is at right now as opposed to what might happen 12 months from now. And the results are all over the place. Mockers aren't zeroing in on the hole at LT-even Kadar's tackle pick is for RT-and he notes that in his opinion Ricky Wagner is not the solution for the Ravens at RT, unlike what many people here are hoping. Note too that two of the mockers went defense, which is important as as a group we fans tend to want offensive skill positions first and second.

All of these picks could potentially be plausible except for the RB.

As the 2013 NFL draft is coming to its end, let's not forget that the reason why Ravens restock its players so well isn't simply from the 7 rounds.. but also from undrafted free agents.

Guys like Ellerbe, Bart Scott and McClain were all undrafted FAs that we brought in.

I am liking our draft this year, but i think it will even be better once we consider all the undrafted free agents that we bring in

Everyone notice some of the similarities between the Ravens top three...

Everyone notice some of the similarities between the Ravens top three picks?

All defensive players, of course.

All plug the middle of the defense. Nose tackle, Middle Linebacker, Safety.

All are multiple. Williams can play anywhere from the 0 to 5. Brown has already played OLB and is talked about as a four-down player who can play the run, pass and special teams. They are talking about Elam as a nickel, FS and SS--and a punt gunner. Dean Pees keeps using the word "cross-training." They had already talked about players like Hall, McPhee and McClellan moving positions.

As good as this draft has been, day 3 is the time for Oz to shine with 2 picks in the 4th, 1 in the 5th, 2 in the 6th and 7th too. Given how rare it is for a 7th or even a 6th rounder to make much of an impact on our team I hope the Ravens package its tradeable picks and move up in the 4th or at worst 5th.

On to the players- let;'s hear what you think of these guys: camp fodder, sleeper, what positions do we most need still, who should we target??

Offense- yes we have an offense!

OL- Barrett Jones, Brian Schwenke, Oday Aboushi, Jordan Mills, Reid Fragel, Alvin Bailey, Ricky Wagner, J.C. Tretter, Chris Faulk, David Quessenberry, Travis Bond, Xavier Nixon, Luke Marquardt, DAVID BAKHTIARI

WR- Quinton Patton, Da'Rick Rogers, Denard Robinson, Ryan Swope, Ace Sanders, Josh Boyce, Kenny Stills, Mark Harrison, Marquess Wilson, Chris Harper, Cobi Hamilton, Conner Vernon

TE- Dion Sims, Michael Williams, Ryan Otten, Nick Kasa, Levine Toilolo, Joseph Fauria, Ryan Griffin

Defense-

CB- Jordan Poyer, B.W. Webb, Mike Edwards, Tharold Simon, Steve Williams, Adrian Bushell
S- Shamarko Thomas, Tony Jefferson, Earl Wolff, Bacarri Rambo, Duke Williams, Phillip Thomas, John Boyett

DE-Alex Okafor, William Gholston, Joe Kruger, Malliciah Goodman, Quanterus Smith, John Simon, Michael Buchanan, Mike Catapano

ILB- Khaseem Greene, Kevin Reddick, A.J. Klein, Steve Beauharnais
Fronczak is the 3rd ranked mocker in the Huddle Report so I suppose he has a clue. First time I've seen Armstead in the first round but once you think of it, this is plausible. This should excite some of you-including me.
A notable omission in Al's mock: NO ILB's at all in round 1.
Al also has several trades including trades at the end of the round one.

So, let me set this up...up until this year, DraftCountdown has been my go...

So, let me set this up...up until this year, DraftCountdown has been my go to site for mock drafts. They were pretty quiet this year though, so I have been mainly watching WalterFootball instead.

They just posted their final mock. Ogletree goes #32 to us. Terron Armstead goes in Round 3 (They have us taking Quinton Patton at 64, I think we'd jump on Armstead there instead).

The shocker to me? Landry Jones is our 3rd round pick.

W T F?????

#1, no way we go as high as 3rd round on a QB unless it is hammer to the face obvious value, like Nassib, Manuel, or Geno Smith being there

#2, isn't Landry Jones slated as a 6th or 7th round value?

I think I'm done with them...http://www.draftcountdown.com/sub/Mock-Draft-3.php

Who would they be and why?

Here are mine:

The Eagles take EJ Manuel with the 4th overall pick.
* Supposedly Chip Kelly really likes Manuel's skill set. He's big, fast, intelligent, and has an underrated arm. He'd be a good fit for Kelly's offense.

Houston drafts Mike Glennon with their 1st round pick.
* They need a receiver, but there are some nice receiver prospects all the way down into the 5th round. QB? Not so much. Matt Schaub has difficulties staying healthy and doesn't seem to rise to the occasion. Glennon as a 1st round arm and would be great insurance for the Texans.

Cleveland takes Tavon Austin with the 6th overall pick.
* The Browns signed Paul Kruger and Desmond Bryant, but didn't make any big time splashes offensively. Norv Turner could influence this pick as could Chudzinski. Both are offensive guys and Tavon Austin's big-play-ability could remind Norv of Darren Sproles and that is the type of player that Cleveland hasn't had in a very long time. He also replaces what they lost in Joshua Cribbs.

A couple that come to my mind are last year - Cleveland had a chance to go get RG III and they blew it - and then traded up to select a running back that they could've taken in their original spot. Wow

Also Denver trading with us to go back into the first and select Tim Tebow

Just my point of view of a couple of really dumb moves...
