Sorry for the intrusion of seriousness, but one tidbit I left out of the thread on the Eric DeCosta interview....
At the end of the interview they asked him about signing Tim Tebow (giggling while they asked).
DeCosta, after harrumphing, said, "you don't have to worry about that."
Now to re-leave the seriousness intrusion :p
Oh man, we got an 8 page thread and haven't signed him yet? C'mon people you're not trying hard enough....... we're close to convincing Ozzie (I think....)
He could be team chaplain
Srsly, peeps, this thread is a classic illustration of just why no NFL team will touch Tebow. He's clearly not NFL QB material & he declines to move to a position (TE or H-back) where his physical attributes might be useful.
Under those conditions the only possible reason to pick him up is if you expect divine assistance to come along. How'd that work out vs NE in the 2011 playoffs? (And before anyone objects that "he beat the Stealers," that was purely a case of PGH giving him even less respect than his skill set deserves--again, see the NE playoff game.)
And yet there are those (in every NFL city, I'd wager) who clamor for their team to pick him up. :grbac:
The closest Tim Tebow should ever come to M&T Bank Stadium would be here;
I am convinced that he will be playing for the Ravens this season.
tebow could forgive rolando for his sins here
And y'all think I'm bad?
Same OP that started the Barkley to Ravens thread. Any other QBs we need maybe Mallett?
