I can't wait to see what sort of hat you show up in Stockers....
I would bring my fez over just to be different but it'd get bashed in my suitcase or my hand luggage, though I suppose I could wear it on the plane, although that may worry some people :o
I shall have to go in search of some random headwear at some point.
Only if you can do a Tommy Cooper impression.Quote:

Just looking at the e-tickets now, we land at BWI at 18.50 local time indeed Paul, top marks.
My understanding is that we're light railing from BWI to our hotel and meeting Ben at our hotel, then finding me somewhere to watch the amount of UMD@WVU that I'll have not missed. ;)
Sounds good! You get to pass right by the Purple Palace on your way in.
And by OPACY to hear the groans as the Sawx hand us out a spanking.
Of course that'll be sporadically broken up when the legend that is Nick Markakis comes to the plate, one of the few bright spots I've enjoyed from the O's this year.
When that vision unfolds,we will probably be acting like 8 year olds on Christmas day.Quote:

OPACY is a beautiful facility. If we had a decent owner it would be packed continually, not just when the Saux and Yanks come to town.
Yes, I'll be over to meet you at your hotel. I guess you'll be at the hotel around 7.45 - you have my cell number so if you give me a call when you arrive, that would be good.
You'll love that ride in on the light rail. When I first moved here, and before I even appreciated what it was all about, I was awe struck by the sight.
Goodluck stockers,Dave & I don't mind carrying you on our shoulders.
At least you will be able to get off to sleep.I maybe staring at the ceiling for an hour or two before I get off, then before you know it the alarm will be going off at 5.45am.
I think I will give Heathrow a taste of Baltimore tshirt and cap tomorrow.
Hopefully that should slide us through security without them doing a body cavity search.:grbac: :ralph:
Yep got your number Fells.Lets get this party started.

The stadiums will be on your left. There is a stop at M&T Bank but it is only used for football game days. The stop at OPACY is always in use. Ben, will they go another stop or two for their hotel?
By the way, the parts of South Baltimore you come through aren't the most attractive places around, forgive the mess.
Great pic. It's still hard to believe I will be travelling that route tomorrow evening.Oh well ,better go pay attention to the wife.I won't be seeing her for 6 days.
Stay cool and sharp.The Brit's are coming.:patriot:

Here's a link to the light rail map: http://www.mtamaryland.com/services/...6LightRail.pdf
Your best bet is to get off at the stop after Camden Yards, which is the Convention Center. You'll find yourselves on Pratt Street. Walk one block north to Lombard Street and your hotel should be to your right, I think about a block down (less than 5 mins walk from Light Rail stop).
I have a map of the City centre - with the hotel marked. I am pretty sure that Fell's is only meeting up to get his hand on the pork scratchings I'm bringing.
What should we do with the mountain of bisto gravy we have?
Chips 'n' Gravy at the tailgate!!! (That's french fries with gravy to you non-Brits)
