It's time for Gordon to have his own trip thead.
He is at the Jets and in Baltimore for the Bengals games.
Here's a rough itinerary of our plans:
Friday 10th September: Arrive in Baltimore about 9pm. Will probably nip out for a beer and some wings before getting some sleep.
Saturday 11th September: College Game - Either Maryland-Morgan State or Navy-Georgia Southern. Not decided which yet but if anyone is going to either and fancies a meet up we'll tag along.
Sunday 12th September: Catching the 1pm games in a bar, some more wings, then heading up to Toe's for travel the following day.
Monday 13th September: Travel to New Jersey to watch us kick the snot out of the Jets.
Tuesday 14th September: Some Baltimore related activity, probably the aquarium, then food in the evening.
Wednesday 15th September: Washington during the day, food at night.
Thursday 16th September: My birthday!! Heading to New York by bus for the day, leaving 7am and getting back to Baltimore at about 11pm.
Friday 17th September: Baltimore related activity, possibly the Sports Museum. Then Yankees @ Orioles.
Saturday 18th September: Watching some college ball in a bar, more wings.
Sunday 19th September: Bengals game in a bar, would be nice for a big meetup here for anyone who can make it. Need a recommendation of where to watch it too.
Monday 20th September: Relaxing day in Baltimore.
Tuesday 21st September: Spending the last of our money on whatever we can find and then fly back to the UK at 9pm
Feel free to suggest things to do in the area!
All Brits should be required to tour the Battlefields of North Point and Hampstead Heights (now Patterson Park), and Fort McHenry!
If you need a refresher on the War of 1812, read this:

Then recite the Star Spangled Banner before any football game that you watch.
Gordon-
No go on the trip to Cinci? We have not purchased tickets/airfare yet.
Our 4th dropped out so we are trying to recruit at the moment.
I think its a no go unfortunately. The Saturday-Monday bit of it would take too much out of our holiday and we're still waiting on the result of Katie's interview to see if we'll have extra spending moohla.
Will you be downtown?
If so, the Cincy game is the day after the Baltimore half marathon. Myself and the fiancée will be in town for the race and will most likely take in the game watching in Fells Point, typically at Max's on Broadway. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn on S. President Street.
Yeah we're staying at the mount vernon hotel. Not the nicest hotel in the world but we got a great price and considering it's literally just a place to sleep at night it got good reviews for being well run. Definately meet up for a beer on the Saturday or for the bengals game.
Hit me up on Facebook, Gordon.
I have some contacts with local hotels and might be able to get you a decent rate at a hotel in Fells Point. You'd save a little money not taking a cab down from Mt Vernon at least.
Only 9 days to go now!! :ww:
Toe reports that the Scots have landed and all is well. Toe / G. / Ben & MrT. all on the way to NY :celery
Did you ever get enough people for the stadium tour Friday? I'm off work friday now and can make it if u do.
What a game to go to! You got to see the great man play GREAT!!! :rocking:
That's us arrived back in Scotland :(
I'm not even gonna lie, we were both heartbroken to leave last night.
But I wanted to take some time to thank everyone who made our trip everything it was:
Mr and Mrs T (I can never remember if that's Lady Raven on here or not!) for taking me and Katie to the Navy game and then giving us a tour of Annapolis - the game wasn't the most exciting game in the world but the experience of the march on and everything was excellent to see and the tour of Annapolis was lovely!
Toe and Susan for putting us up for two nights and for taking us up to the Jets game. I will forever remember the big group of us walking through the Jets fans to the chorus of boos and heckling! :happyanim And even more so the look on all their faces as they realised that we have ruined their new stadium opening on national TV. Katie was very glad to have Susan for company while Toe and I chowed down on some crab!
FellsPointRaven and his wife for taking us out to a BBQ and FPR for taking us out to Max's for the Bengals game, bowling (Katie sends her apologies again!), meeting up with us after we landed, etc, etc, etc.
You're all fantastic people and I can't wait to come back over again soon - hopefully as soon as next year.
If we are back next year then we'll be there for a home game.
Thanks again everyone!
Glad you got home safely.
Katie shouldn't apologise - she bowled a strike, did she not?
