Did you guys see this? Pollard compares Kruger to Jared Allen

    http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/...0-b5a6488f8075

“I told [Kruger] he reminds me a lot of Jared Allen,” Pollard said, per The Carroll County Time’s Matt Zenitz. “I was in Kansas City with Jared. Jared is a bigger body than Kruger, but very similar with the hands, with the feet. Both are very smart players.

    Mighty high praises.

Kruger has been really impressive, but Jared Allen? I guess that's better than being thrown under the bus.

He reminds him of Jared Allen in that he's a white guy who plays at the end of a line they call the defensive one, in a game called Football...other than that, there isn't much of a resemblance at this point.

I would have to agree. Jared is much bigger and can just bull rush linemen. Kruger is more "finesse" in his moves to get to the QB.

Allen is a beast in all areas of the game, one of the best pass rushers in football and he plays the run nearly as well as he rushes. There is no comparison whatsoever between the two.

I was thinking the same thing Pollard must be high

I think Kruger compares more to someone like Kroy Bierman.

that I agree with, not dominant good rotaional guy, solid depth, good circumstances and situational player and excel when asked to do only one thing. But we seen what Kruger has to offer as fulltime starter he can't do it.

Did Pollard register as Kruger's agent?

Come on guys, you're missing the point here. If you''re trying to hype a young buck up to ball out against our rival, you don't tell him "You remind me of Koy Bierman!" No one in the history of the world was ever inspired by that, including Bierman's kid.

Pollard is being a good team mate, take this about as seriously as Ray Lewis when he proclaims every single year that "This is the best team I've been on since the Superbowl."

He may not end up as good as Allen ever, but you guys just watch, he's making great progress. Just remember that Allen was once a 5th round nobody back in the day.

I agree. He's found his stride and the team has finally figured out how to use him.

I'm just wondering why he wears a spoiler on his pads...

I'm sorry but I burst out laughing on that one!!! THANK YOU!
I have this visual in my head of Bierman's kid shaking his head in agreement.

He most definitely is playing his best ball since coming to the team. He should have a good game against that walking zombiefest that the Steelers are trotting out there this week. If he doesn't, they should grind him up and eat him in the cafeteria.

Wait are we knocking or praising kruger, im not sure what week it is.

He sucks when asked to fill possibly the best all around olbs shoes.

Hes awesome when asked to be an opposite side pass rusher to said olb.

Pick whichever response corresponds with this weeks praise/criticism.
