He didn't help us win this one, which for a coach is just as bad as helping us lose. The inability to adjust to pressure and attack the middle of the field was why they won( they did it) and we lost (we didn't).
My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

Right, theyll just work the kinks out and we wouldnt see it anymore.

Something like this has never happened to this team, we wont see it again.

It is easy to tell everyone to chill but this was a statement game especially playing against a 3rd string Qb that was beaten by Cleveland last week. The team was totally umprepared and Harbaugh was horrible with his game decision making. Hasn't this been a common theme the last four years? Yeah, they make it to the playoffs each year under Harbs but he just does not have championship caliber head coaching ability.

Manning is going to pick this defense apart in two weeks as Pees is a complete moron with his soft defensive schemes. Cameron is predictable and should be canned at the end of the year when the Ravens are once again knocked out in the first or second round of the playoffs. I am just saying that this has been the pattern.

Simply put, the team lacked energy and was unprepared in a big game. This seems to be a constant theme with this 2nd rate coaching staff. They do not make game timw adjustments and Harbs should be sent back to special teams. Cam could not run a high school offense. I have been saying for the last three years that the Ravens will never even go to a Super Bowl with the current coaching staff.

Flacco holding onto the ball way too long. Clock in his head must be broken.

I've been saying this for the last two-three seasons. You really have to wonder just how good we could be with an actual OC.

I seriously, 100% believe that if we fired Cam right now, we would only get better. He is terrible, his schemes are terrible, he makes no adjustments, he's a moron. Ray Rice again just 12 carries? And most in predictable, uncreative ways. Unbelievable. Granted, Joe wasn't great, he was pretty mediocre, but you can't blame him for hanging onto the ball. NO ONE IS OPEN. The OL isn't bad folks, it's the effing scheme, no one's ever open, not utilizing the middle, etc. But hey, just getting to the playoffs is fine.

There seems to be a lot of people here who seem to be intent on blaming the playcalling OR the player's execution.

When it all boils down to it, it's clear that it's a bit of both and neither helped eached other. Yes, some of the play calling was awful (need 5 yards, let's call a play that takes 10 seconds to develop and leave our QB a sitting duck!), but Flacco's passing was off at times, and some of the passes dropped were inexcusable.

You can argue which came first, but the reason we lost was that no facet of the game really stepped up last night. Through all the games we've shaded, we've been able to rely on something to win the game, whether offence, defense or spec. teams. Sure, offence and defense had their moments but were not consistent enough and special teams were poor. Add in the coaching mistakes, such as the ridiculous challenge and you can see it was all one giant cluster-feck of a shambles.

Players have come and gone. But we still see the same results! WHO DO YOU BLAME?????? Coaching! As of right now they are all to blame. But so is the GM and Owner for letting it to continue! PERIOD!

Ray Rice didn't touch the ball in the 4th quarter.

    Re: Fire cam

That was pathetic. Just all around pathetic 3rd string qb. I've been a huge defender of harbs and flacco but that challenge was completely unwarranted. No adjustments at all, and flacco seemed to have time to throw so it seemed to be the play calling. With Cameron calling the plays I'm losing confidence moving forward, what happened to the no huddle he was fighting for so bad on Halloween?

    Re: Fire cam

Throw everything deep despite Flacco's accuracy issues, don't use no huddle at home, don't mix up formations. Plus, the early drops in the first quarter hurt as did Flacco's misses of open receivers - these aren't on Cam, obviously..

Meanwhile, the defense was nonexistent after the team went up 13-3. No pressure. Don't cover the middle at all. Heck, the Steelers blew two sure TDs.

Flacco wasnt great, but how many 3rd downs are we going to see where every receiver is 30 yards down the field? How many more games where no one can get open?

Flacco wasnt good. Im not saying he was.

However, this offensive game plan was dumb.

GOTA pointed out in the game thread that the steelers have 1 good corner back and he was hurt most of the game...and they still blanketed the Raven's receivers.
