    Deadskins

Tired of dwelling on the Pitt game. Lets turn the page....so...Anyone looking at the Giants vs Deadskins on MNF? Defensively, they look very beatable so all this talk about us losing out should be rejected. Their offense against our defense on the other hand, that's a little concerning. They run the classic Shanahan Zone combined with Read Option and heavy doses of play action. It's such a cheesy gimmicky offense but is damn effective against undisciplined defenses. That means our DBs and LBs just have to be extremely disciplined in holding the edge and not biting on PA fakes. It's too bad Webb is injured cause this will be a game where we couldve used those blitzes out of the slot to get him off his spot.

No fear, Pees is Here to save the day! Hell, Batch torched our Defense....what do you think RG3 will do against no pressure, and a suspect secondary that lacks communication skills. I think the next three weeks are going to be very trying for RavensNation. Of course, we can still take solace in the fact that our team will "compete"...as always, thanks for those words of encouragement after every game, Coach Harbs!

Ive seen RG3 throw the ball more over the middle of the field than the ravens have all year

But the Giants wideouts are more open. Eli is approaching 300 yards passing and they are still in the 3rd quarter. Just realized the redskins defense is ranked #29th against the pass. Something we may be able to exploit but with our offense that's a big if.

Their defense is horrid theyre a top ten run defense which is a misleading stat because teams just pass the ball all over them.

their offense is creative and uses repetitive plays with different options... I smell trouble.
On D they're average talent wise but they sure are balling. coin toss game again

I'll tell you what, our team better damn well have their jock straps on real tight next week, because the skins are playing with a lot of emotion and purpose - it is going to take more than just "competing" next week to pull out a W.

I only hope that they are blowing their wad against their division rival and come out flat next Sunday,

After watching this game... I have little faith the Ravens can beat the Skins.

Assuming the Skins hold on to win, the one good thing from the Ravens' standpoint is the Cowboys move to only a game behind the Giants for the NFCE lead, which probably keeps them from packing it in at Cincy next week & vs the Stealers the week after, which might help the Ravens stumble into the postseason. I wouldn't have much faith in the 'Boys beating either of them, but at least they might try a little harder.

there may be a silver lining to this...
keep in mind that this is a divisional rivalry game with major playoff implications on the line. The skins, losing record and all, usually play the Giants tough just as the Steelers do us Ben or no Ben...with John Beck and Rex Grossman, the terrible skins swept the Giants last year and those same 9-7 Giants went on to win the super bowl. This year, the Rams are terrible playing teams outside of their division but have managed to go 4-0-1 in their own division, including knocking off and tying the 49ers, and they are considered "Elite" by NFL standards.

The Giants have left at least 10 points on the board against the Deadskins shitty defense. They killed themselves with dumb penalties and the missed FG. I think we'll come out pissed and attack. I cant stand them!!! Lol

I always expect division games to be close tough and a coin toss regardless of the teams.

However, I can't imagine our defense playing sound against the Skins option plays. RG3 can burn any defender.

I'd like to think with a longer week to prepare, maybe our coaches finally can pull an ace out of their pockets.

But yeah, certainly won't be easy. I think it is better that they won this week, because it should fluff their egos a bit, and I have to think our guys are going to come out with chips on their shoulders.

    He's also a better passer.

    Re: Deadskins

So, now we have to play a Redskins team on the road and a Giants team at home that are both fighting for their playoff lives? After losing to the Steelers and Charlie Freaking Batch at home? So there goes that aura of invincibility--and right before we play the Broncos at home too.

Anyone else feel that instead of peaking at this time of the season, we're starting to unravel?

We just might lose the next 3 games; whether we even make the playoffs could come down to beating the Bengals at their place.

I don't think everyone is dwelling on just the lose to Shitty, but dwelling on the lack luster coaching of this team. I think we win 2 out of the next 4, but I'm skeptical of that. 29th rank pass D will shut down the Ravens scheme, not really hard to cover straight lines with an occasional out.
