The thing is now that the Giants didn't put Washington away, Washington has a pretty good chance of winning the NFC East so they WILL be motivated to give us a game in their house! They're like a game behind the Giants now and the Giants still have to deal with the desperate Saints, go to Atlanta, and then come see us so they could very easily drop 3 games right there while the Skins handle the Browns, Eagles, and Cowboys. Luckily for us, the Redskins D shouldn't be close to what the Steelers put out there so if Joe gets more accurate with his deep ball, enough to make them respect the pass, and then turn Rice loose on them to keep RG3 off the field, they can do it. Hell, if Pittsburgh and the Bengals can beat the Skins this season, so can the Ravens.

In all seriousness, if Charlie "Freaking" Batch can dissect the Ravens Defense in our place, what hope do we have that our Defense will man up against the likes of RG3, and the Brothers Manning?!

Not too hard for any of our remaining opponents to defend against our vanilla, predictable Offense, and a Defense that applies little (if any) pressure - I think it will be extremely difficult to pull 2 W's out of the next 4! Ironic if the Steelers end up running the table, and we implode....just thinking.

If the reports of a torn bicep for Suggs are accurate, it's not starting, it's well underway.
We just might lose the next 3 games; whether we even make the playoffs could come down to beating the Bengals at their place.
"Just might"--? IMHO it will be a minor miracle if they don't lose the next 3, probably in humiliating fashion.

Sooooo...I guess the Ravens should just dial-in the forfeit next week?

According to most here, we should just prepare for the combine.

The same RG3 that lost to the Panthers at home 4 games ago? This is the NFL. Teams are different week to week.

Oh yeah, time for the Ravens to take a dirt nap for rest of 2012. Because even if we try, it's not going to matter

Even better, the same Redskins team that put up LESS points against the steelers D at heinz field than the Ravens. That just goes to show how good the Steelers D truly is and how much parity there is in the NFL

Agreed, the Raven-Redskin game will be like all other Raven games this year, decided in the final minutes per usual. They just need to be on the winning side. They might have to score POINTS this week, Joe & Cam?

The best thing that could have happened to the Ravens is that the Redskins held on to win. They were celebrating as if they had won a playoff game. It's almost a sure bet they have a letdown next game. The Ravens OTOH have something to prove after last night's loss.

    Re: Deadskins

One silver lining is that they had a close Monday night game (although it barely looked like a tough one, there were barely any snaps). They'll have a short week to prepare for us. You could also argue that a lot of their success has had to do with a convenient bye week and a virtual bye week before this game due to Thanksgiving.

I just noticed that the Broncos will have the same "virtual bye", too. They play this Thursday @ Oakland, and then get 10 days to rest up before the December 16th game.

RG3 represents a unique problem, but i think well actually match up pretty well. Im more worried about their speed on offense than him alone. Offensively, assuming they double Torrey and allow boldin to match up on hall, id assume our TEs will have a good day. as bad as they are, ill agree our system isnt very challenging for them to actually defend. i suspect a somewhat close game thats probably more ground and pound oriented than many would first think.

Zone Read, West Coast base, Triple Option, ... pretty creative offense.

Last night was their big pritimetime game so they were pumped. At least Ravens catch them on a Sunday afternoon

Record aside, they are the better team. I say the Redskins beat us by 10.

    Re: Deadskins

I predict Flacco will lose another 5-10 million on his new contract offer this week
While RGIII goes for about 300 yds passing, 75 yds rushing, and 4 scores

    Re: Deadskins

I think the Redskins have a very good offense (#7 in yards and #8 in points). I cannot see the Ravens holding them to less than 20 points.

Which means the Ravens offense going to have to break out of their scoring slump and put some points up on the board. The good news: The Redskins defense is much worse than what the Ravens have faced the past few weeks (the Redskins have actually given up more yards than the Raiders).

This game will come down to Flacco and the offense. If they can execute and capitalize on the plays that will be there, they have a very good chance of winning the game. If they struggle, I don't think the defense will be able to bail them out like they did in Pittsburgh, Cleveland and San Diego.

Ahhhh...perspective. Don't offer any of that around here this week. The Ravens are going to lose the rest of their games, didn't you hear?

    Never mind....

Here we go crowning the 6-6 Redskins...

Their defense has given up a whopping 301 points already.. Only the Colts defense is worse for teams with a shot at making the playoffs.

I will say this - I'm jealous of their offense. Morris is a hell of a find in the 6th round.. RG III is Mike Vick with a brain and a better arm.. A couple more moves at offensive skill positions and they just may be the next Tecmo Bowl type offense to start lighting up scoreboards every Sunday.
