Awesome Ray Lewis painting
My buddy did an original Ray Lewis painting. It is one of a kind and said he would sell it if anyone is interested. He is local and might be able to do more..not sure his schedule since he is a tattoo artist.
Check it out

His cheeks aren't that sunken in.
Other than that though, that IS an awesome painting

Re: Awesome Ray Lewis painting
He is asking $300 for it. I'm finding out the exact size.

Re: Awesome Ray Lewis painting
Uh... I think he is under pricing that painting. By about $1000. I guess it depends on the size too, and the more I look at it seems on the smaller size.
When I was younger I collected football cards and "Fleer" had a portrait set. Each card was a print of an oil painting portrait. Obviously that's a huge undertaking and more than a few artists were used. A couple artists did great work, a couple were hit and miss. I'm sure those guys were churning the work out at a fast pace, but this portrait would have fit in that set nicely and would have been on the higher end of the quality and likeness spectrum.

Wow, I thought that was a photograph when I first looked at it for a second.

Also the painting is 16x20 with acrylic paint on the canvas.
I've seen a lot of his paintings and they look really great in person.
Oh and his name is not Craig, whoever asked that.

He should get Ray to autograph it and auction it off to a charity.

He should Tweet it to him. I've seen a few players ask for paintings and things fans made of them and tweeted them.
"What would you give for the man beside you?"

Re: Awesome Ray Lewis painting
Lewis has a twitter account but it's his management/PR staff that use it.
Flacco is the same, his management use the account, nothing ever personal on it
The twitter is still a good idea though, Jameel McClain tweeted a link to a painting earlier this week
Also, 300 seems a bit low
Your friend could get more I reckonLast edited by Irish Raven; 12-07-2012 at 02:30 AM.

Re: Awesome Ray Lewis painting
really nice work... $300 is a bit too much for my blood, but probably as others have said a bit to low for this.
