It's not Torrey's fault every time. He had the guy beat and clearly had to slow down to adjust to the ball, probably slowed too much but if Flacco lays it out like, oh, Griffin does on his throws, it's an easy catch and TD. There are times when Torrey does inexplicably slow down and it causes incompletions but that was definitely not one of those times.

I don't blame Cam for that series, honestly (at least not more than the usual amount of blame for his terrible offense.) You take a false start, which is Reid's fault and no one else's. You take a deep shot on 1st down, which is the best time to do it, and the players didn't execute. You run on 2nd and it's unsuccessful. Then you draw up a pass play, nobody's open but at least Pitta had a shot at it on the checkdown.

If Cam would have called a pass on 2nd down people would be screaming about 3 straight passes. I hate Cam, but that series is not on him.

The ball went OVER his head. Yeah, it wasn't a perfect throw but if he didn't fail at judging the ball, it still very well could've been a touchdown.

We are going to just need a HUGE game by Rice IMO. He needs to have a game similar to that wild card game back in 09, he is off to a good start, Cam needs to remember who he is though.

Well, it is fair to say that that drive is NOT on Cam. They had a scoring play, or at least a 20+ yard play, and the players on the field failed to execute. Looks like last week...

Yeah. Blazing fast Torrey comes to a screeching halt, ball sails OVER his outstretched hands and it is clearly under thrown. How a ball can go OVER someone's head and be under thrown might bend the laws of physics a bit, but hey, as long as you people get to blame Joe for everything.

they both f'd up. flacco underthrew the ball and smith couldn;t make a tough catch that hit him in his hands. neither made a play.

You people are fighting over Joe missing a deep ball or Torrey missing it. How about you complain about the real problem, like why do we seem to have one deep ball per drive? Take what the defense gives you, stop with the all or nothing bullshit
