    Neuheisel on WNST Tuesday

Just a quick note to everyone:

Rick Neuheisel will join me tomorrow (Tuesday) morning, sometime around 7:05or so on WNST (1570am).

If you have a question you'd like me to toss his way, feel free to e-mail me it to me at: drew@wnst.net - can't promise I'll get your question out to him, but I might...depends on how many I get and how much time he has, of course.

Nice work with the site, Tony. Keep up the good work (everyone involved).

    Regards,

    DF

That's right, RN. Rick doesn't do anything all week but dream up new ways to improve the qb's throwing motion. He's not at all involved at all in the offense, and what real fans and media people see, interaction between him and the players, is one giant charade.

Your genius penetrated the massive hoax. Bravo!

I listened. He praised the guys who have been cut. He also said the plays in the preseason are designed in part to run the play for the sake of running the play. For instance, we might see more passing plays because first string receivers are in for relatively few plays, so there is less time to spread the ball around.

He said Troy is showing a lot of upside, particularly in practice. He also dismissed the possibility of Troy being 2d string.

Can't remember much else, perhaps others can fill in.

I don't know how much Neuheisel is involved with developing the game plan, but I am guessing a lot. Billick still calls the play but you or I could call the plays after the game plan is established. There are choices for various downs and distances and you simply make choices on hunches and also (probably) based on how individuals on both sides are playing that day.

I personally like Neuheisel and think he's a great fit for our organization.

He has that Ravens swagger to him already and I'm sure his addition will pay dividends sooner rather than later for our offense.

Why all the anymosity toward him from Ravens fans?

    UNLEASH THE BEASTS!!!!
