So is Flacco on the hot seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
Ok, Cam is gone. Now, what does Bisciotti do now if the offense doesn't improve? The Ravens have three more regular season games, and as long as they win at least one of those games, they are likely to win the division. So, that would mean at least one playoff game. Is 4 games enough to evaluate Flacco sans Cam Cameron?

I think it may be a message that Steve don't play, and Pees better be on notice too, IMO.

I am not sure about that. Bisciotti has a big decision to make about Flacco's contract. If the offense doesn't improve, and Flacco will not accept a reasonable contract offer (~6 years, $72 million), I am not so sure that the Ravens won't franchise Flacco, and then trade him.

Flacco and Harbaugh are safe. Any speculation otherwise is completely unfounded. The next few weeks will be interesting to watch but let's not expect miracles here. Rome was not built in a day.

I bet pees is shittin the bed right now, he has to be having nightmares.
"It's like a rerun ... Everybody knows how this story ends, with us and the Steelers. It's about time we changed it, and give people something new. Right now, it's kind of like we pride ourselves on being a bully, but they're the ones that keep knocking us out of the playoffs. So they're the bully. One day you just got to say '[screw] it' and punch the bully totally in his mouth. Then they won't bully you any more." T-Sizzle

Harbaugh is safe.
I think a Flacco Franchise tag becomes more likely. People still believe in Joe and wand him to succeed, but he has not played himself into the contract that he wants.

Re: So is Flacco on tht seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
If anyone's on the hot seat in his position, it's Caldwell. If he can get the offense (& specifically #5) rolling, there's probably a multi-year contract in his future. If not, they'll bring in someone like Norv & he'll either be offered his old job back or let go.
To me the biggest question is what can be done to shore up the OL. Yanda's injury gives Caldwell an opening to bring McKinnie in from the cold, particularly given that as QB coach, he wasn't responsible for keeping him benched. The big guy's still got money problems & whatever he might think of Harbaugh, he might respond to a 3-4 game window of opportunity to show he can still play at a high level, even though it almost surely won't be here. Meanwhile I think Oher would be OK with moving back to RT for the good of the team knowing that he'll have the inside track on LT next year, which either pushes KO inside or flips him with Jah.

Re: So is Flacco on tht seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
Yeah I think Pees is more on the hot seat than anyone. Baltimore is KNOWN for D and our current ranking, as well as the past 2 games letting a grandfather and than a no name beat you when you we're handed a lead in both games, just doesn't fly. Last time we had a scared DC he only lasted a year, and his D was even ranked higher than this one. I've hated the Pees idea from the getgo.
edit: really all I want for Xmas is to see Marvin Lewis get fired so we can lure him back. WHY we didn't pursue Del Rio and wen't with Pees brain is a mystery to me. Denver is currently 4th in total D.

Re: So is Flacco on tht seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
IMO, it's time for Flacco to put up or shut up. He wants more control of the offense? Ok, now he has it. Let's see what he does with it. If the offense doesn't improve, then I don't see Bisciotti giving Flacco the big contract he wants. It is still highly unlikely, but I wouldn't be totally shocked if Flacco were to be franchise tagged and then traded this off-season.

Re: So is Flacco on tht seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
Flacco is safe but I wouldn't say the same about HARBs - maybe, maybe not but Vinny and Rob said on radio that there's no way Bisciotti gives
Joe $17M for being a part time player.
He's not consistent for 4 qtrs and he won't get that much for the
way he is now.Pic of a natural act.

Re: So is Flacco on tht seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
People think this is crazy talk for the Ravens to trade Flacco, but look at how well so many rookie QBs are doing these days. Also, who was Joe Flacco when he was drafted out of Delaware? The Ravens went to the AFC Championship Game in his rookie season. I don't think that Flacco being traded is likely, but it is possible depending on his performance and contract demands.

Re: So is Flacco on tht seat now, or is it Harbaugh?
In regards to the original question, I would rather the Biscuit just stay out of all decisions, even if they may be right. I'm quite certain he was behind Cam getting the axe. Harbaugh was never going to do it. Unless Bsiciotti wants to appoint himself as GM then he should stay out of all of these decisions.
