Well it's not like anyone would expect Harbs to come out and bitchslap the guy on the way out.

I especially liked Gerry Sandusky's questions: "John, how long have you be contemplating making this move and when did you make your final decision."

It just seemed like such a set-up question....

Like always. People should know by now that John is from the Bill Belichick school of press conferences. Nothing but coach speak.

Someone asked if McKinnie would start.

Harbaugh got a little defensive then deflected. lol "When we think he's [McKinnie] the best option, we'll put him in there"

Too much risk to go for it towards the end of the game.

Confirmed, I play not to lose.

I am ready for him to go with Cam.

I just think if this was his decision, he would be more forceful with the reasons why it was made. He doesn't have to get into 3rd down conversion rates and game management, etc. But I would expect some general version of what was not being accomplished on offense and why "he" made the decision.

Instead, it seems like what it has been reported: "I had to let Cam go, he's a great guy, not thrilled about it, but it is what it is..."

Firing your Offensive Coordinator, mid-season, in the midst of a playoff push, is a ballsy move if it is your decision. It's either not his, or he's got a great poker face....

How can Harbaugh say with a straight face that he thinks that Jah Reid, Bobbie Williams, or Ramon Harewood are better OL options than McKinnie? If I'm Caldwell, I tell Harbaugh that I want McKinnie out there. Caldwell's future with the Ravens is on the line, and if he is going to go down, he should go down with the best players on the offensive roster.
