Broncos at Ravens - predict the score
Looks like it may be raining on Sunday and that may help Baltimore although Denver has established a pretty decent running game too.
How much will Caldwell help the offense and Flacco and how well will the D play (hoping we get a few players back from injury).
The Ravens are a different team at home and they really need this win. I think they find a way to get it done and also win the time of possession

Ravens are good at home. Hopefully with dust being brushed off some sections of the play book the offense will show up. Head says Denver wins...but I'm go with my gut.

30-27 Ravens
If we keep our "ground and pound" mentality, I believe we have a shot. The best way to beat Peyton is by keeping the ball out of his hands. The less our defense has to play the better. Hopefully we have success running early and are able to take advantage with some play-action. I'm excited to see what Caldwell will do.

Re: Broncos at Ravens - predict the score
I think there is a strong chance we get run out of our own stadium this Sunday, rain or shine. Sorry to sound negative, but with all of the injuries on defense and Ravens killer Manning coming to town with those young weapons, I can't see us winning.

Re: Broncos at Ravens - predict the score
Last time was almost exactly 5 years ago to Manning in the rain.

I hope the players get fired up to win one for Caldwell. Replacement coaches often get better efforts from the players in the first game or so after the coaching change because it is a chance for the players to show that they weren't the problem.

I'm kind if thinking this as well.
I'm tempering my expectations. I just want to see some smart play calling on offense and some changes in defense resulting in some sort of cohesiveness, especially in the LB corp.
If we get those positives, I will be ok going into Giants week.WARNING: This post may contain material offensive to those who lack wit, humor, common sense and/or supporting factual or anecdotal evidence. Ravens have lost 2 games by 3 points on FG's. Games they should of won. Denver has played a very very very soft schedule. I feel the Ravens win at home in of course a nailbiter.

Re: Broncos at Ravens - predict the score
Ravens are better at home than on the road, however they also lost to the Steelers a few weeks ago with Charlie Batch under center. That doesn't give me the best hopes with Manning throwing the ball and a Denver defense that is very tough.

Broncos win, going to say 42-27. I just don't see this defense being able to stop Manning at all, sadly. Just don't have the manpower and a possible Ray Lewis return isn't going to do much to help that. They've given up a lot of points to the real good offenses they've played, 30 to NE, 29 to DAL, 43 to HOU, 31 to WASH, I don't see anything different happening here.

Peyton is on a mission to prove to Irsay and the rest of the football world that he still has some high octane gas left in the tank.

Re: Broncos at Ravens - predict the score
It's really amazing how things have turned since Ed Reed made the pick vs Pitt.
It looked like 10-2 was on the way.
Now it's 9-4 and that's just on the field.
It's really hard to predict games in the first place, let alone this game with what's happened.
I honestly think the biggest issue is gonna be Denver's pass rush. Von Miller is a flat out stud.
24-13 Denver.

Re: Broncos at Ravens - predict the score
Hard game to predict. I think the offense is going to put up a lot of points to prove it wasn't just their fault. The problem is Manning will put up more. That team is unstoppable right now.

Ravens 35
This is about how good Manning is, rather than the state of the Ravens.
