    I am with you. I want the Steelers watching the playoffs from their couch. If the Ravens want to win the division, they can win another fucking game this season and EARN it.

    There is still a cool playoff implication if Cincy and Pitt tie next week. The Ravens would win the division and the Steelers would be eliminated at the same time.

    Well, not really sure about that, but i think it's correct.

    If Pitt wins next week and Cinci beats us week 17, who gets in? In that case we already have the division. So Pitt and Cinci are fighting for a wild card.

    I think the Ravens win next Sunday because they are playing a team that may be more inconsistent than they are. You score 52 last week and get shut out against a good but not great Falcons team? The Ravens should be able to make some plays on this team both offensively and defensively.

    Win next week and basically get a bye in week 17.

    (sigh) Just to reiterate for anyone who hasn't seen the gory details:

    The Ravens have clinched at least a WC slot.

    If they beat the Giants next week, they win the AFC North and probably get the #4 seed.

    The Ravens will also win the AFC North if they defeat or tie the Bengals in Week 17.

    If they lose to the Giants, then the winner of the CIN@PGH game earlier in the day will win the AFC North championship if they also win in Week 17 (CIN hosting BAL, PGH hosting CLE), presuming that BAL also loses:
    • If CIN defeats PGH & then BAL it wins the division outright at 10-6;
    • If CIN defeats PGH & ties with BAL, they finish tied with them at 9-6-1 but BAL wins AFCN with better divisional record;
    • If PGH defeats CIN and then CLE while BAL loses to NYG and CIN, there is a 3-way tie at 9-7 which the Stealers would win via best head-to-head record among the tied clubs.

    The only way the Ravens can win the AFC North while losing out is for PGH to defeat CIN next week but then lose to (or tie with) CLE in Week 17.

    So the only way the Ravens can clinch the AFC North next week is by winning their own game (or playing to a tie while PGH defeats CIN).

    If the Ravens win one of the next two, chances are they play Indianapolis. If the Ravens lose out, chances are they play at New England.

    It seems imperative to win one of the next two games.
